We are learning that Anna Kepner's 16-year-old stepbrother was arrested and charged in federal court. But remember, because he is a minor, the specific charges and court proceedings are not publicly available. Well, after the court appearance, the teen was reportedly released, avoiding questions from reporters.
18-year-old Anna Kepner, a high school senior, was found dead more than three months ago while vacationing with family on a Carnival cruise ship. She was found suffocated under a bed, wrapped in a blanket, and covered in life vest in a room she shared with her stepbrother, the suspect, and her younger biological brother.
Just after her death, an ex-boyfriend of Anna came forward claiming her stepbrother had a strange infatuation with her.
