Talks are now set for Friday between the U.S. and Iran.
One thing of note is that just this morning, Secretary Rubio is signaling that the talks for Friday are back on track, but he is pushing back on some of the more erratic demands that the Iranians have been making the last 24 hours. One thing they proposed yesterday, they said when they sit down with the U.S. on Friday, they only want to talk about the nuclear issue.
Rubio says that's probably not going to work. Overnight, Iran's foreign minister told an Iranian news outlet, quote, planning for the negotiations has been made for the coming days. Consultations to determine the venue for the talks are currently underway, while info will be shared as soon as it is finalized.
