Oman's been in talks with Iran about managing the Strait of Hormuz and negotiators say talks with Tehran are continuing. But Iran's Supreme National Security Council is out with a list of demands the U.S. has to follow or the strait will not reopen. The council says the U.S. must withdraw from the region and end the war. They expect to be compensated for war damages, and they want an end to sanctions. The council's also demanding an end to the U.S. blockade of the strait, but the U.S. has said the blockade won't end until a deal's been made. Jill Nadeau, Fox News.
The White House has not yet commented on Tehran's latest list of demands.

Both countries discussed seeking EU membership and pledged closer economic ties.

Federal appeals court affirming two to one that whether, quote, a massive ballroom should be constructed is for Congress to decide and not a matter for executive self-help. It cites the Constitution as assigning Congress, not the executive. The responsibility to decide proposed changes to the physical design of the White House and that in order to move forward, the Trump administration must obtain Congress's authorization. Well, President Trump blasted the ruling on truth social, saying in part, quote, We are presidents elected by the people of the United States of America and have many rights, including the right to fix, renovate, secure, protect and beautify the White House grounds, which has been built and rebuilt and renovated and re-renovated, prepared and simply made better.
The judges cited the lack of congressional approval in their ruling.
What legal obstacles are blocking the construction of a White House ballroom?
Former NBA players Enos Cantor-Freedom and Royce White have declared themselves eligible for the 2027 WNBA draft. Fox's Natalie Chuck reports from Los Angeles.

Whether these announcements are facetious or the two will really end up at training camp remains to be seen. But the timing is clear. It comes weeks after protests erupted following comments made by Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham, saying she wants to protect young girls from playing against biological men. Now, some are voicing their support for the trans community. Minnesota Lynx head coach wore a trans kids belong t-shirt during their game against Cunningham's team.
