A blast of winter. I'm Angelo Bavaro Fox News. A major storm is underway across dozens of states from Texas to Massachusetts.
This storm, unfortunately, it came as predicted and it continues to gain some strength. Now we've already seen icing. That's freezing rain. In Nashville, Tennessee, power outages is galore. And once it powers out, the temperatures are gonna feel like the negative 20s in some of these spots. So you're talking about a wind chill of about minus seven in Nashville itself. Where is the snow going? Up into the mid-Atlantic, New York City? You're gonna see about six to ten inches of snow. Same with Philadelphia. But you're gonna mix it in with a little bit of sleet and freezing rain. It'll buzz it down. For you guys in Washington, about three to five inches of sleet and snow. It's a it's really a winter mess, but Boston, the big winner in New England.

Why are Senate Democratic leaders warning of a potential government shutdown this week?
Maryland Governor Wes Moore on the Sunday briefing with Peter Ducey saying that no other place will get hurt more from a shutdown than
Maryland. We've had over twenty-five thousand. People, Marylanders fired, federal workers, uh, just in the process of this past year. Uh and so the impact of the federal government uh decisions has significant impact, and these shutdowns have significant impact on me, my people, and our economy. That possible government
Shutdown could happen at the end of this week. President Trump with an update on his push to acquire Greenland, which is getting some backlash from global leaders. Fox's Lucas Tomlinson.
that can play a vital role in world peace
President Trump announced the framework of an agreement after meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Ruta in Davos. He also backed off his threat to take Greenland by force. Denmark's Prime Minister Meta Friedrichsen says NATO has no authority to negotiate on her country's behalf or the autonomous territory within its kingdom. She refused to talk about Trump's proposed deal while on a visit.
Here French President Emmanuel Macron has vowed that his country will stand up to quote unquote bullies opposing President Trump's plan. Before that agreement, the U.S. threatened tariffs on nations that oppose the President's wishes.
What backlash is President Trump facing over his proposed acquisition of Greenland?
Macron called that threat fundamentally unacceptable. A US delegation met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu yesterday to talk progress and implementation for phase two of President Trump's twenty-point plan for Gaza. And this comes after the president created a board of peace, he calls, to oversee the ceasefire and rebuilding in Gaza. I'm Angelo Bavaro.
