Iran threatens the U.S. Navy. I'm Carmen Roberts. Fox News. Two U.S. Navy guided missile destroyers passed through the Strait of Hormuz today for the first time since the war started. And as the U.S.-Iran peace talks got underway in Pakistan, the Navy action angered Iran, which threatened to attack those ships.

Vice President J.D. Vance is the highest U.S. official to meet with an Iranian delegation since the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979. We learned about a pair of guided missile destroyers from the U.S. Navy that just transited the Strait of Hormuz in a freedom of navigation operation.
President Trump is seemingly talking about this operation during the talks here in Islamabad, taking a true social, posting, quote, we're now starting the process of clearing out the Strait of Hormuz. It's a favorite of countries all over the world. And certainly that would be welcomed by many Gulf states and the hundreds of oil tankers that are stuck in the Persian Gulf.
And Tehran warned Pakistan mediators that if those Navy vessels continue to move, they would be targeted within 30 minutes. Another historic mission, this one to the moon and back, wrapped up last night as the Artemis II made a perfect splashdown.
The mission, which captured dramatic views of the far side of the moon, a solar eclipse, and the Earth, was the first flight test of NASA's Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft with crew on board. NASA is pressing Blue Origin and SpaceX to develop lunar landers by 2027.

These allegations of sexual assault are flat false. They're absolutely false. They did not happen. They have never happened. And I will fight them with everything that I have. They also come on the eve of an election where I have been the front runner candidate for governor in California.
The San Francisco Chronicle first broke the story of an anonymous ex-staffer who claims Swalwell sexually assaulted her while she was intoxicated once when she worked for him and again years later.
Congressman Swalwell claims the allegations are politically motivated. A jury in Manhattan failed to reach a verdict yesterday in the first day of deliberations at the live nation ticket monopoly trial. 34 states are suing the concert giant, claiming it is monopolizing the industry and driving up ticket prices.
And ahead of today's U.S.-Iranian peace talks in Pakistan, no one on the trading floor called for relief, not yet. U.S. crude closed yesterday at 96.57 a barrel. And as negotiators in Islamabad push for peace, gas prices dipped for a second straight day. AAA says the national average is 4.14 a gallon. That's lower, but still 56 cents more than a month ago.
