The U.S. military is clearing the Strait of Hormuz of any Iranian mining ships. Sixteen of those mining ships have been destroyed so far, and President Trump says more of these are coming as he will not allow Iran to block the flow of oil. We also saw the U.S. carry out what Secretary of War Pete Hegseth called the most intense airstrikes of Operation Epic Fury so far.
While Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent a message to the Iranian people, writing, quote, In the coming days, we will create the conditions for you to grasp your destiny. Israel also conducted airstrikes in Lebanon today, targeting Hezbollah leadership, military sites and financial infrastructure.
Chapter 2: How is Israel responding to Iranian threats and actions?
Fox's Nate Foy, Israel and Iran exchanged gunfire earlier today as Tehran apparently hit a ship in the Strait of Hormuz, setting it ablaze while targeting infrastructure. Kuwait said its defenses downed eight Iranian drones. President Trump is demanding an unconditional surrender from Iran.
U.S. airstrikes against Iran will continue until President Trump deems Iran is no longer a credible threat to the United States.
When those objectives are met, the president will dictate the end of these operations.
And while President Trump says he wants an unconditional surrender from Iran, Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt clarifies.
He's not claiming the Iranian regime is going to come out and say that themselves. What the president means is that Iran's threats will no longer be backed by a ballistic missile arsenal.
Levitt also says the spike in gas and oil prices will be temporary and will drop rapidly once the war ends.

We had at least 90 to 100 mile per hour differential of this storm, roughly two miles wide of broad rotation that is happening. It's crossing over the road. Here's the concern, too, is on the backside. You have the rear flank downdraft that is playing out with vicious winds, more lightning embedded in this and power flashes that are coming in with the power lines along the interstate.
