Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
48 hours. I'm Deborah Valentine, Fox News. President Donald Trump calling on NATO allies to back the U.S. in its conflict against Iran as he makes a new threat.
Crews in Israel are searching for survivors after Iranian missiles breached air defenses, striking two different southern cities. At least 74 people were hurt in Iran.
Chapter 2: What recent events are escalating tensions between the U.S. and Iran?
Several more people were injured in Dimona, where a nuclear site was nearly hit. Tehran claims the attacks were in response to U.S.-Israeli strikes on its Natanz nuclear facility. Israel warns U.S. and Israeli strikes will significantly intensify next week. President Trump, though, is considering winding down U.S. military efforts in the region.
But he's now threatening to obliterate Iran's power plants if the vital strait of Hormuz isn't fully reopened.
Chapter 3: How is Israel responding to Iranian missile strikes?
Meantime, Britain is condemning Iran's attempted strike on a joint UK-US base on Diego Garcia. It's about 2,500 miles from Iran, suggesting its missiles could reach farther than we thought.
Fox's Chanley Painter reporting. President Trump said Saturday if Iran doesn't fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours, the U.S. will hit and obliterate their various power plants, starting with the biggest one first. Iran striking a joint U.S. and U.K. military base, Diego Garcia, that Tehran once claimed was out of missile range. Not anymore.
Fox's Mike Tobin reports from Tel Aviv, Israel, with details.
Very clear now that the Iranians had greater range with their missiles than they said they did because of this launch. Diego Garcia is some 2,500 miles out into the Indian Ocean. The U.S. and Great Britain operate a base there. Mubasa Aragshi said that their range was limited. to 2,000 kilometers. That translates to 1,250 miles. Now, it should be noted that the missiles never hit their mark.
One of them failed in flight. One of them was taken out by an interceptor. But that kind of range puts most of Europe in striking distance.
CENTCOM confirming U.S. forces have struck over 8,000 targets in Operation Epic Fury. America's listening to Fox News.

He appeared at a big hearing back in July of 2019, and he took no stance when questioned by Democrats at that hearing. whether or not President Trump had committed a crime.
He kind of hinted in his report, though, that maybe the House should consider impeaching President Trump, which they did a few months later.
