There is quite literally a race on to find that missing F-15E crew member. The U.S. doing everything it can, of course. to bring him home safely. But the Iranian military also looking for him, looking for what would be obviously a huge propaganda victory.
Chapter 2: What are the implications of the U.S. military's search and rescue efforts?
They were very quick to start showing pictures of the wreckage of that F-15E and one of the ejector seats with remnants of a parachute found near where it came down. One point we know that some of those US helicopters took incoming fire. Some members of one of those crews were injured, but we understand the helicopters landed safely.
And Israeli forces say they are pausing strikes in the region where the airmen went missing in southwestern Iran. And as the war with Iran continues, new polling shows many Americans remain opposed to expanding military action. Congresswoman Nancy Mace, speaking on Fox News Live, says Americans with loved ones in uniform are demanding answers, warning that no one wants another forever war.
We owe them an answer to the question of how does this end as we do with every single conflict? And it's been difficult to watch over the last 70 years. I can't name a single conflict where we bombed Islam into peace.

And so that's why these negotiations are so important right now to ensure Iran doesn't get nuclear weapons.

The Artemis 2 mission is now closer to the moon than it is to the Earth. And on the way out, the astronauts on board have been sending back some dramatic photos of our home planet. And when they fly around the far side of the moon on Monday, they're likely to see some features directly with human eyes that previously could only be seen in satellite photos.
After their lunar flyby, the Orion space capsule will essentially free fall back to Earth for a parachute-assisted splashdown in the Pacific Ocean, and that is scheduled for late Friday.
