Chapter 1: What significant event is happening in Davos, Switzerland?
Something new just now in Davos, Switzerland. I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News. The official formation of what is known as the Board of Peace. President Trump is the chairman, and the leaders of other countries on that board just signed the charter creating it. The mission at first, getting to the next phase of the Gaza ceasefire and disarming Hamas. But they were born with rifles in their hands.
literally born the first day they had a rifle put into their hands. But they have to give up their weapons.
Chapter 2: What is the purpose of the newly formed Board of Peace?
And if they don't do that, it's going to be the end of them.
And the president also says the board won't just focus on that.
I think we can spread out to other things as we succeed with Gaza.
And he says they'll work with the U.N., which the president's been critical of. Some U.S. allies have not joined the board, concerned it could undermine the United Nations. This board creation at the World Economic Forum comes the day after Greenland was the focus. And President Trump wants to take control of that territory from a NATO ally, Denmark.
But he ruled out using force and then backed off tariff threats against European allies opposing him.
Denouncing instead a framework for a future deal over Greenland. It's everything we wanted. including especially real national security. President Trump sat down with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. The president says Denmark is unable to defend Greenland and question NATO's commitment to Arctic security.
That's Fox's Jared Halpern out of Texas, where a now ex-cop was found not guilty. Adrian Gonzalez has been charged with child endangerment and a slow law enforcement response to the Uvalde school massacre.
Prosecutors alleged the former Uvalde school police officer did not follow his training and endangered lives by not confronting the gunman at Robb Elementary during the critical first few minutes of the 2022 shooting that left 19 students and two teachers dead. The defense argued the 52-year-old tried to save lives and was unfairly blamed for all of the law enforcement failures that day.
That's Fox's Kristen Goodwin. The former Uvalde school's police chief goes on trial next. America's listening to Fox.
