Blizzard warnings. I'm Deborah Valentine, Fox News. A potentially historic nor'easter is aiming for millions of people in parts of the mid-Atlantic and northeast. New Jersey Governor Mikey Sherrill has declared a state of emergency for all 21 counties.
This includes heavy snow, especially along the coast, extremely high winds and coastal flooding. Blizzard warnings are in effect along coastal New Jersey for the first time since 2022. New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani.
New Yorkers can expect that Monday morning commute will be extremely hazardous with heavy snowfall and peak winds coinciding to create slippery conditions and greatly reduced visibility.
One to two feet of snow, coastal impacts and high winds are forecast. The precipitation is expected to begin this morning ending Monday. Power outages, coastal impacts and beach erosion all possible.
