The former director of the FBI, James Comey, faces a two-count indictment, including charges of giving false statements and obstruction of a congressional proceeding. Both charges alleged crimes relate to Comey's testimony during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing back in 2020, which focused on the investigation into ties between Russia and President Donald Trump's 2016 campaign.

Chapter 2: How is TikTok's ownership changing under Trump's executive order?
President Trump's been pushing for Comey to face charges from his newly appointed U.S. attorney in Virginia, and he posted in Truth Social, Justice in America. Colin Comey, one of the worst human beings in the country. After the president signed an executive order to facilitate the sale of TikTok away from Chinese control.
This is going to be American operated all the way. The president would not detail every investor, but says the group includes Oracle's Larry Ellison and Fox Corporation's Rupert Murdoch. Congress approved legislation last year that banned the app in the U.S. unless Chinese-owned ByteDance divested from TikTok.
President Trump has signed multiple extensions to keep TikTok running as negotiations were ongoing.
Fox's Jared Albert of the White House, where the president also said Israel keeps waging war against Hamas in Gaza.

We're learning more about the gunman who was shot at an immigration enforcement facility in Dallas, Texas Wednesday. Investigators say they found notes at Joshua John's home, evidence he planned the attack, and called ICE agents, people showing up to collect dirty paychecks.
He wrote that he intended to maximize lethality against ICE personnel and to maximize property damage at the facility.
