What updates are being reported about U.S.-Iran talks and potential obstacles?
Obstacles for a final agreement. I'm Roger Stern, Fox News. Talks between the U.S. and Iran are set for tomorrow in Switzerland. The topics are to include the future of Iran's nuclear program, but there could be stumbling blocks whether the Strait of Hormuz is closed again and the fighting in Lebanon. Here's Fox's Alex Hogan in Tel Aviv.
Iran says it did so because of the recent violence between the IDF and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
How is Iran’s IRGC threatening the Strait of Hormuz and what is the U.S. response?
The Israeli military claims that Hezbollah fired more than 50 projectiles at Israeli forces in southern Lebanon. And Lebanon claims that these strikes have now killed as many as 20 people there today. As a result, the IRGC says ships should not approach the waterway. However, a U.S. defense official tells Fox that the IRGC cannot close the waterway since they don't control it.
Who are the U.S. envoys heading to Switzerland and what are the expected discussion topics?
The U.S. controls it. And U.S. Central Command says that ships are moving in the Strait, as many as 55 merchant ships transited, moving 17 million barrels of oil.
Two of the president's envoys were in Switzerland for the talks with the vice president on his way. Early voting in New York City's primary is underway, with the mayor pushing Democratic voters to the left. His fox is Brian Yannis in Brooklyn.
Democratic Socialist Mayor Zohra Mamdani says the Democratic Party must change or it will lose the presidential election in 2028. And he says that change begins by electing more socialist Democrats in Tuesday's primary here in New York. He's heavily campaigning this weekend.
What’s happening in New York City’s primary and why is Mayor Mamdani campaigning?
For two Democratic socialists and one former Democratic socialist in three New York Congressional House races. They are trying to unseat two mainstream Democrats by promising to abolish ICE, condemning the genocide in Israel and vowing to tax the rich.
Mamdani himself voted today. America is listening to Fox News.

1,700 people evacuated and one dead after a fire broke out at a Dominican Republic resort.
What caused the deadly fire at the Dominican Republic resort and what are the consequences?
Here's Fox's Jeff Paul.
Authorities are now investigating as they try to figure out how this deadly fire started. The fire was sparked on Friday at the Viva Dominicus Beach Wyndham Resort in the popular tourist town of Bay of eBay. Thick black smoke blanketed the area as flames soared just feet away from the crystal clear waters along the Caribbean coast. Crews even using drones equipped with water hoses to try to put out the massive fire. While the exact cause of the fire is under investigation, emergency operations officials in the Dominican Republic say the fire spread rapidly in part due to strong winds. They also say the fire moved so quickly because many of the roofs, at that resort were made with a dry palm leaf material called canna.
Many of the guests who were evacuated have been placed in other nearby hotels or housing facilities.
Local media reporting that the one person who died was an Italian tourist.
How did Team USA secure its World Cup win over Australia and who were the standout players?
America celebrating as Team USA beats Australia to advance the knockout round in the World Cup. Here's Fox's Jonathan Hunt in Seattle.
What was perhaps most pleasing about the win over Australia was the way the US brought the pressure from the very first minute. And then in the 11th minute, Flo Balogun surged down the left-hand side, crossed low and hard, and under intense pressure, one of the Australian defenders put the ball into his own goal. The second goal was scored by the youngest member of the entire U.S. squad, Alex Freeman. He talked about the moment of scoring and the moment he saw his teammates coming at him to celebrate.
I was like, oh, Lord, and I had to run and then I ended up running and celebrating with them.
Millions of fans watching across the country.
Germany and the Ivory Coast now playing their own game. I'm Roger Stern, and this is Fox News.
