Chapter 2: What is the significance of the historic nor'easter blizzard approaching the I-95 corridor?
Blizzard warnings stretch over 700 miles, 40 million people from Maryland up to Maine, including our major cities, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, where we're expecting winds to exceed 50, 60 miles per hour, blow around the snow. And we're talking snow that could be one to two plus feet on the I-95. Higher totals will be closer to the coast, expecting snow to continue to fill in through tonight.
And governors across six states have declared states of emergency and are telling everyone to stay home until conditions improve. U.S. airlines have canceled more than 13,000 flights so far through Monday. Fox's Brian Yenis is at New York's LaGuardia.
The flight-aware misery map shows the airports with the most cancellations, not surprisingly, New York, JFK, LGA, and Newark Liberty in New Jersey. Delays and cancellations, though, also Boston, Philadelphia, D.C., Reagan's airport, Chicago's O'Hare, Atlanta, and Miami.
The Secret Service and FBI are investigating why a 21-year-old North Carolina man entered the perimeter of President Trump's South Florida home early this morning, resulting in agents shooting and killing him. Republican EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin tells Fox News.
For people to try to bring a shotgun and a fuel can to the president's home at Mar-a-Lago to cause who knows what kind of damage, I look forward to learning more. It is infuriating.
