President Trump writing on True Social that he will sign an executive order to pay TSA agents as Congress struggles to come to an agreement that would end the partial government shutdown, though it's not clear where the money would come from. Earlier, Senate Majority Leader John Thune said Democrats are refusing to negotiate.
They wanted to talk about reforms. The administration sat down. They talked reforms. They agreed to some things. Democrats kept moving the goalposts. Then they said we don't want to fund ICE. And now they're saying we don't want to fund ICE and we want reforms. I mean, I don't know what they ā it's just they're talking in circles.
PSA agents haven't been paid in weeks and nearly 500 have quit, leading to chaos at airports and hours-long lines. President Trump giving Iran more time to open the Strait of Hormuz.
The president says he'll pause any attack on Iran's power plants until at least April 6th at the request of Iran's government. So I gave them a 10-day period. They asked for seven. You're going to say, oh, Trump's a terrible negotiator. They asked for seven. And I said, I'm going to give you 10.
President Trump tells The Five on the Fox News channel he agreed to the extension after Iran allowed several tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. He also says negotiations are ongoing and going well, claiming Iran is begging for a deal to end the war.

IRGC Navy Commander Ali Reza Tangsiri was targeted overnight in a strike in the city of Bandar Abbas, Iran, according to a senior Israeli official. Tangsiri was directly responsible for commanding the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. I'm told his senior operational leadership, including intelligence and operations chiefs, were at a covert Navy command center.
