He is the ultimate head coach. I've had a bunch of people text me who know him very well. I haven't even had the opportunity, but I'll give you guys a quick little sample. I'll just go through some texts that I have. Incredible in front of the room. Charismatic and great pulse for the locker room and what message is needed to motivate. and how to deliver it. That's a sample of one right there. There's another one or two I wanted to bring up here. Another one right here. Sets a standard and makes everyone rise to it. And I'll tell you, I'm just going off the top of my head over some other ones. They practice super hard, right? That's something we saw with Brian D'Abel.

Their practices didn't come off as hard practices. They practiced the minimum. John Harbaugh comes from the anti-retreat. There is going to be much harder practices, much tougher training camps. The preparation is going to be different. The expectation is going to be like, if you don't keep up, you're out of here. That's where the Giants are at. That's what the Giants are getting when you're talking about John Harbaugh and adding him to the mix. And yes, the expectations should rise. Me and Bobby talked about this before. Not necessarily saying this year you should be like they should make the playoffs and win the Super Bowl, whatever it may be. Forget that. No, it should be that this team is going to improve and head in the right direction.
And then two years should be a serious contender, a legitimate contender. This should be a threat to everyone in the NFC East, the whole entire NFC, and eventually the entire NFL. That's what you're expecting when you're getting John Harbaugh. And you're paying them, from what I understand, somewhere in the range of five years, $100 million. $20 million a year. Somewhere in that range. It's close to it. And that's what the going rate is for one of the top coaches on the market. Yeah, he's not Andy Reid with his resume overall. But you know what? He's not that far off, right? He doesn't have the multiple Super Bowls. That's what it would take for him to get there. But just to be in that next rung of guys, that shows you where he's at.
18 seasons as a head coach. He has experience as a head coach. He knows how to handle all different kinds of situations, all different kinds of dramas.
