What’s the vibe and format of the Giants Nation live show in West Virginia?
Are we live? Oh, we are live. Welcome to the Giants Nation Show. Live show from West Virginia with all of our closest friends. Appreciate you everyone coming out. Before I introduce everybody, you guys are part of our team. I do not want the other podcasts stealing our episode ideas. They already do it enough, so no filming the entire time we're here. Okay, no filming. We will kick you out if you film. I had to set up the one-liner. I'm Bobby Skinner. All the way to my right is it from ESPN, host of Breaking Big Blue. One time Tony Award winner, Jordan Renan. I'm not that small as you can see. Not the smallest person here. We've got him sitting on the cooler. We've got Arch Stapleton all uh all in with Arch Stapleton, North Jersey, Arch Stapleton.
I can't believe he's the host. And Tony Award winner. Second annual Tony Award winner. And we're gonna present something to the first two time Tony Award winner. He has no podcast. Maybe that's what helps him out in the Tony Award winnings. Of the athletic Dan Duggan. And here's your trophy. Two time award winner t Dan Duggan. Wow, this is a beauty. This is the most money we've spent on a trophy. I can tell.
No offense to you, guys. I can tell. Look at this. Wow.
Meanwhile, my guy is uh Kadarius Tony with a gun. Well this is Kadari Kadarius Tony. It's a lot harder to bring mine around in the Giants facility than that one.
This has a silhouette of Kadarius Tony on his first day of rookie camp when he was practicing literally with one shoe. If uh you know, if we get a l nice look at the camera All right, so here's what I wanna start with because I didn't do a practice recap today and we people can listen to us B S for a while, but we do wanna talk about practice today. I'm happy that the offense had a good day. So I don't have to start like offense had a bad day, but it's gotta build up. I'm I'm just glad they had a good offense a day. Dan, I'll kick it to you first, uh, since you just got the trophy. What is your thoughts on the offense today and how they've been throughout this entire camp? Uh oh, Dan's not plugged in.
Again, here. We good?
There we go. All right, we're good. We know he doesn't realize how to use uh headphones. The other day he was sitting there like this for like 30 minutes. I think you need to turn it you need to turn your U piece around. I don't have a podcast.
It's that UMass education. Exactly. Uh anyways, as I was saying, um no, the offense did not look good for most of the camp. I know, Bobby, you've been here for some practices, not all of them. Um as if
I've been sight I went to the caverns, it's been a great vacation for the yeah. I'm sure as you mentioned once or twice, you made all of them.
But yeah, no. Hadn't looked good really uh for the balance of camp. Today was different. It I mean the numbers was sixteen to nineteen. I think we all kind of had the same numbers. Uh even looking back through my notes, he started a one for three, and there was a stretch where he completed thirteen passes in a row. Uh a lot of that was like a third long period, and he was hitting underneath throats, and sometimes you might say, Oh, well, he's just checking it down, but it's like that's also just playing real football. Like you can't just chuck it down field. He was getting getting the ball out quickly, wasn't taking sacks. And then that last drive, uh, I thought he did a really good job. But just again, it felt like real football.
It was good they were going as the ones. And he just methodically worked down the field, had a deep out to Mooney, had I think Theo on another deep out. Um even the check down to Turbo that got him way down To set up the touchdown. That was again just quick. Got the ball out. Let your playmaker make a play. And then I it was cool at the end there, though, when Harbaugh went off the field. It'd been like a 13 play drive. And he's like, We're going to go to the goal line tomorrow. I don't, you know, want them doing it. And the players to their credit lobby, like, no, no, no. One more play, like one more play. Puts him out there.
