We're on air. We're on air.

0

Chapter 2: Who is the special guest behind the Mystery Door?

8.803 - 15.829 Ant

Hello, everybody. Welcome along. Look how big your shirt is. It's quite big, isn't it? It's so big, isn't it? If you're listening at home, I swear on a tent.

0

15.927 - 19.032 Dec

It's too big. Shall I change? I'd like to change.

0

19.212 - 19.993 Ant

Good morning, good evening.

0

Chapter 3: What record is Ant attempting to break today?

20.193 - 26.703 Ant

Welcome along to another Hanging Out With Ant and Dec mystery door episode. Last week was good, wasn't it?

0

Chapter 4: How does Ant prepare for his banana eating challenge?

26.883 - 36.898 Ant

With the psychic sister Jane. The tarots were good, weren't they? Let's hope they were good anyway. Yeah, I said it was going to run for 10 years and it's going to be a huge success and be turned into a TV show. She said the States was going to come knocking.

0

Chapter 5: What happens during Ant's official Guinness World Record attempt?

37.178 - 39.201 Ant

Have we had any listeners from the States this week?

0

39.181 - 40.422 Unknown

Wisconsin.

0

Chapter 6: What are the results of Ant's banana peeling challenge?

40.482 - 44.006 Ant

Wisconsin, of course. West Wisconsin. West Wisconsin. You can't knock her for that.

0

44.026 - 60.084 Dec

You see? She's good. She is good. She's good. So we're here for another Mystery Door Monday. Yes. I hope it's not as in-depth as last week. I felt a bit... It's quite intense. Yeah, when we left here, I got stuck in loads of traffic. Thankfully, I wasn't driving.

0

60.104 - 61.145 Ant

She didn't warn you about that, did she?

0

61.165 - 67.652 Dec

She didn't warn us about that. But I just kind of learned the proxy law for an hour. Did you? Yeah, I did.

0

67.784 - 72.532 Ant

For those that are just listening to this, Ant's pulling a really... Gormless face. Gormless face, yeah.

72.552 - 93.68 Dec

Yeah, that's how I normally travel in the back of cars. Bit spaced out. Spaced out, yeah. I should have said this last week. We went when we were 15? 15? Do you remember? Yes. We went to a place in Willoughby, which is near Newcastle, and we got our palms read. I completely forgot about this. Do you remember? Yeah. We got our palms read. And do you want to know what she said?

94.462 - 120.932 Dec

She said to Dec, who went in first, that he is going to be on stage and he's going to have a successful stage career. Didn't she? That's right. She said to me, I was going to be a plumber. She did. She said, I see you working with your hands, something like you're a plumber or something. And my dad's a plumber. So I went, I think I jumped in and said, plumber? She went, yeah, plumber.

120.952 - 137.816 Dec

How wrong she was. Not as good as Jane, who said we're going to run for 10 years and be a hit in the States. We've got to make our declarations about this Monday. We do. I can declare. I don't know who is behind our mystery door.

138.698 - 164.576 Ant

Well, I can declare I also don't know who or what is behind the mystery door. Really? Yeah. So it's two weeks in a row. I thought one of us would have known this. No, neither of us do. Another one? I'm going to sit in the car like that. Both completely in the dark once again. So we'll just sit here and wait for the knock at the door.

Chapter 7: What went wrong during Ant's record attempt?

256.345 - 257.566 Will from Guinness World Records

Nothing.

0

257.586 - 266.054 Ant

It can be, yeah. It can be anything. Can we tell us why you are here? I can. I can. So I can confirm that one of you will be attempting a Guinness World Records title today.

0

266.994 - 269.016 Will from Guinness World Records

This is exciting. On here on the podcast.

0

269.357 - 279.786 Ant

On the podcast today. Yes. One of you will be attempting a Guinness World Records title. At this point, I won't tell you who. Okay, don't. Before we get there. Yes. Can I just state, I am a genuine fan of your work.

0

Chapter 8: What strategies does Ant consider for a successful re-attempt?

280.186 - 284.07 Ant

I used to get the Guinness Book of Records every year for Christmas. Of course you did.

0

284.51 - 287.82 Ant

Oh, it's such a deck thing to do that. Did you get it, Lola?

0

288.021 - 289.465 Unknown

Every year, and it was my favourite present.

0

289.505 - 291.391 Ant

I used to love it.

291.411 - 291.772 Unknown

Really?

291.852 - 299.697 Ant

Christmas night, go through the Guinness Book of World Records and... Do what with it? What would you do with the book? Just... Drink it in.

299.757 - 304.084 Dec

Drink it in and take the knowledge from it. Would you try and ever do any of them in the back garden?

304.164 - 326.197 Ant

No, but I always kind of thought, oh, one day I would love to break a Guinness World Record. So today could be the day. Today could be the day. I think I got my first book in probably around about 1983, 1984, around then when I was about... eight, seven, eight, nine. When did Guinness World Records start doing a book of world records? Right, so we started in 1955.
