We are today covering chapters 76 through 80 of this inevitable ruin. We are at the... Penultimate, penultimate episode. Right. Yeah, that's a good way to put it. The third to last episode. And if you thought, oh, we're probably just going to kind of ease into wrapping everything up.

No, it feels like we're just making new trauma. Yeah. More, more terrible things just keep occurring. And we are excited to dive in and discuss all of that with you fine folks. But before we do, we have a couple of announcements. First up. We have a meetup, a second meetup we're going to plan this time in August. It's July right now, so we've got a little bit of time. But our next meetup is going to be at the Brutorium here in Austin, Texas, Saturday, August 15th at 5 p.m.
And I know you're thinking, why would you pick the hottest month to do this? We'll be inside this time. Yeah, indoors.
It should be nice. They got beer. They got food, German food.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Sausages and all kinds of stuff like that. They also got really good AC.
Yeah. So we'd love to see you guys there. If you happen to be in town, come hang out with us. Next, I wanted to point out something I've been seeing. Matt Deniman, the author of these books, he posted about some pinball art on his Instagram. Yeah, really cool painting of Jamal. And then Sam Boyd Reads, one of the famous book talk people on Instagram who talks about the books, tagged a video of us, of Martin, in fact, talking to Matt Deniman during the Operation Bounce House, which I believe was the first time he mentioned a pinball machine. Yeah, back in February. Is that what that was? Yeah. It was that long ago? Wow. So really cool to see. I was like, oh, yeah, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It was cool seeing that and remembering, oh, yeah, okay.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, Sam's cool. Shout out to Sam Boyd-Reeds. Yeah. And next, we got a comment here who says, this is from Valen Chu, who says, kind of unrelated, but I can't stop staring and laughing at what I'm 99% sure is a Rubio sticker on Grant's laptop.

Now, if you guys are watching our video over on YouTube, sure enough, you can see a couple of stickers here on my laptop, including this is supposed to be me riding on my friend Mike Lambert's back as I'm dangling a beer to make him run. Not supposedly, it's canonically you. Canonically me. You gave me the eyes of that sloth from Ice Age. Yeah, right. sir god gave you the eyes of sloth for my sake how dare you i mean come on man the guy's got a slightly lazy eye there's no reason to pick on him he's got two slightly lazy eyes if only they could be lazy in the same direction you know um but yeah sure enough uh rubio made these these stickers from our beer podcast the beerists it's also got rubio here but uh
