Fuzzy Door, Seth MacFarlane's production company, Dungeon Crawler Carl is now coming to Peacock Network. First off, what do you guys think about Dungeon Crawler Carl on Peacock?
Well, I've been watching Ted Season 2, which, you know, Seth MacFarlane has announced is going to end at Season 2 because it was too expensive to make the bear. The CGI for the bear was too expensive. So, considering all the stuff that's in Dungeon Crawler Carl... I have to at least hope that he's like, all right, we want to save the money for DCC. Or it's going to be finger puppets. Yes. Yeah, or that. Because so much of what happens in the books, like, this seems more suited for animation.

Because live action just tends to not have the budget for these things.
Period, right? Because... I've said this a bunch of times. You're going to do dungeon crawler Carl live action. Carl is one of the only things that would be a non CGI full ass character, but he is going to have CGI on him for the fucking glove. And the right, like everything is going to be like CG on him, even though he's like the only real person that we,
See? Right, right. You're like, well, he doesn't really need anything. He's like, well, no, you're going to need CGI for his cape to have it flow, right? Because they do that with Superman and everybody else. And every time he pulls that Chistera, you're going to need that. Right. And then every single thing else, every single other character is going to need CGI. I think... Maybe not Louie.
What's probably going to happen is that They're leaning on the massive success that has been the book. Mm-hmm. Right? And it seems like, I mean, they've sold millions and millions and millions of copies. Right, right. Of the book series, right? And it seems like the people that become fans of the series and go all the way through will spend money on any dungeon crawler Carl fucking anything. Mm-hmm. Peacock doesn't have a lot of subscribers. Right. Imagine the influx of subscribers to a dungeon crawler crawl show.
That's true. What a lot of the streaming services, they want a big tentpole. Right.
And they pull people in. This has all the makings of being the next Game of Thrones or Stranger Things, right? Yeah. It's got the marketing tie-in. It all makes sense.
I've been saying for the longest time, this is the next big thing.
And it just like Peacock Peacock, I associate with NBC. I'm not sure if Peacock is a little bit more expanded to also allow more mature type of production.

Well, they, you know, one of their other programs is, um, uh, um, not need for speed. Um, um, God damn it. What is it called? I watched this show all the time. Uh, racing the cars, deadly cars.

And that's pretty brutal.
Yeah. I mean, you know, it's playful laughs, uh, but it is, it is brutal.
So, okay, I guess. I think there's something interesting about the construct of the dungeons that there can be a degree of... cheap background cgi almost like phoned in background to it and they not feel out of place for a an artificially generated environment it could happen i mean i hope they don't but like like with twisted metal like twisted metal is fun and a lot of it what makes it work is anthony mackie is he's actually like he has so much charisma that he makes the show work i really like him
Yeah. And the effects are kind of cheap. It's cheap CGI, but it fits with everything because of the tongue-in-cheek nature of the show. So that's something they could fall back on. I hope they wouldn't.
Well, it's also the thing we talked about where... The first few seasons of this show are probably primarily going to feature a pretty blank or an easy background canvas dungeon.
