So I did a round of embryo freezing with Lucas. We only got one embryo, which was devastating when my injury was still bad and I wasn't able to come back. So August 2nd was National Sisters Day. We heard a rumor. You're an only child. I am. I am. Gosh.
How are you? How are you? It's tough. How was childhood? It's really tough. You guys have each other. Yeah. But I have you. Yeah. Yep. Fair. And I will say that I'm pretty sure that's why playing sports meant so much to me and all the teams I was on. Yeah. When I started, I was not good. I was picking the flowers. Yeah. My mom didn't come watch me because she was like, that's not fair. what we signed you up to do. You can do this at home. It's not what I'm paying money for. But I made play dates and I made connections. And I think to the very end when I was hanging on, when one leg was kind of falling off, I love my teammates and I wanted to give all of myself to them and to the sport because that camaraderie, that sisterhood, that community gave so much to me.
So I have always felt like I've had a lot of sisters, but obviously I see you guys and hear your shenanigans and your banter and I didn't have that growing up.
I wonder with Only Children if you can go like two different ways, like one way, your way, you have to make friends, you know that you do, you have to put in a lot of effort with people, and then you can get the weirdos.
