We always love to uh Get a sense of where Everyone is at the moment and we love seeing um all the different uh places people are tuning in from. Uh you'll notice Tonight, um I am It's just me and Alec. Uh Craig had a bit of a family thing. He has a sick kid he had to uh travel for and tend to. Um, so he sends his regards. I'll miss uh his delightful perspective on all things, but we're gonna try to do this uh just me and Alec. Um you're also we would love to hear your questions. Um we're really talking. Of course. Mostly about uh How We Made Your Mother, which is the podcast that Craig and I do, the rewatch podcast for How I Met Your Mother.
Uh we have uh finished taping all the season two um uh episodes, but they haven't all aired yet. What uh what episode are we up to on the release?
Uh, I believe we just released uh seventeen or so. We're in the we're in the seventeen
era. Yeah. And there's twenty-two. Uh we'll also be releasing these Instagram lives. Uh if you miss this uh or if a friend misses it and you want to tell them about it, um we're they're gonna be up and running on uh wherever you get your uh podcasts. So um Alec, help me out. What do we uh w what do we have in store for uh the folks tonight?
Well I could definitely start us off by saying that already we are we have folks coming to us from Mexico, Australia, Germany, Brazil, Sweden, Chile, Venezuela, Canada, and Brazil again. Wow. Uh now someone says they're from Shout out to
Brazil. I know that Brazilians like to be shouted out. So
Uh we've now we've got Ecuador and then we've got uh local here. We've got Chicago, we've got Kentucky, we've got New York, we've got France, uh it it just keeps coming. Indonesia, Peru, Portugal, Iran, Colombia, oh my goodness gracious. And Ohio. Ohio is finally in the house. Um Well everyone, uh, thanks for telling us where you're from. We do have uh Josh here ready to take your questions on all things. How I made how I met my goodness. No, no, how I met and how we made your mother. Um while everyone is teeing up their questions, um Clainey Benvenuto, um Well asks, how do you feel about being part of one of the greatest shows of all time?
Well that's very nice. Um you know, I just did Rain Wil uh Rain Wilson's podcast, Soul Boom, the other day, and we were sharing about the weirdness and the great uh feeling of, you know, having been on a show, both of us on on long running iconic shows at around the same time. Hm and what's strange is like um You don't quite know you're on a show that's going to have legs until 20 years later, and people are still discovering it and talking about it and introducing it to people. So at the time, you don't you you know, you know that people like it and you know that it's working and you keep getting renewed, which is uh that means the network believes in you. Um, but we we both uh were kind of joking that there were other shows on the air at the same time.
Time that you've probably never heard of that got a lot more press, a lot more uh, you know, kind of critical acclaim and attention than our shows. Um, but uh, you know, time has been very good to how I made your mother and the office. Um, and shout out to the office because uh Jenna and Angela from The Office Ladies are producing us now. They came on board for season two. Um, so we do a lot of collaborations with them. Mm. You can uh follow along with them because we we do a lot of uh cross-pollinating with the office ladies now. Um but uh you know what? How does it feel to be on one of the greatest shows of all time? It feels really good. Um and I have a new appreciation for how great the show is um since I've been doing this show and I've re-engaged with the show and watched it anew.
