Good morning, everybody, and welcome into the JP Peterson show. We thank you so much for joining us as your only independent Tampa Bay Sports Talk Show. Uh each and every day we do this for two hours. And uh our award-winning guests and uh and hosts here like this man to my Right, I guess. I I I don't know. Um My I facing the yeah. I yeah, you're right. I don't know. Camera right. Good morning, Tim Ham IndyCar Tim.
JP Peterson 1:05
How are you, buddy?
Tim (Timmy) 1:06
Uh freezing my arse off. Went to bed last night with the high of the day. Uh at about eleven thirty PM central time. It was fifty degrees. Woke up six o'clock AM Central Time, uh to thirty six degrees and a brisk northerly wind and drizzle. And it just it looks miserable. The school I gotta woke up to a text from the school district. We're letting the kids out early today and so I can't go
JP Peterson 1:36
even going. Couldn't go
Tim (Timmy) 1:37
to the studio and and like I gotta pick 'em up, you know, way earlier than the in the and and no bus service.
JP Peterson 1:45
So this is what this is the big mistake they made in Snowbageddon in Atlanta, back in twenty fourteen, I believe it was. Um which S uh S N L did one of the greatest parody skits ever. Have you ever seen the they bring on this this old Colonel Sanders looking mofo? Piggledy, piggledy, piggledy. We had no idea what was going on in the snow. Uh it was um it was and they let everybody go to school and go to work, even though they knew the snow was coming at noon. Yeah, come everybody come in and then you know maybe we'll send you home. You know it's coming at noon. You know everybody knew it. It's all over the news. Every it's coming, the snow is coming to Atlanta. So send everybody to school, everybody working at noon went, oh, snow's here.
JP Peterson 2:28
Everybody go home at the same time. And then at the same time we're gonna put our our snow trucks that we never use and just borrowed from Utah. Right. And we're gonna put those out on the road at the same time to salt the roads. Well, guess what? If everybody's on the road, you can't salt the roads. Rookies when there's when there's gridlock, because you morons let everybody out at noon. Oh, so that's what you got to look forward to. So good luck with that. I'll be here playing golf today in seventy-two degree weather and it's beautiful sunshine. So there. So there the rest of the country. Bite me. Um no, I listen, it it's a dangero storm that's moving in. And I hope I we pray all of you guys are batting down the hatches and it's probably gonna be uh you may not have power for a while, partner.
JP Peterson 3:20
So um hope you got that generator I sent to you a couple months ago and it's all plugged in and ready to go.
Tim (Timmy) 3:25
No, you know what? I didn't get a generator, but I did get a mystery package yesterday. Ooh. Well that that's it.
JP Peterson 3:31
That's what it is. It's a regenerator.
Tim (Timmy) 3:32
And and and so I've got one of these eight and I don't know how things are in Florida. In Texas we inexplicably put the piece of machinery most responsible for cooling our house in the hottest part of our house in the attic. All right, our our HVAC systems are in our attics here. Right.
JP Peterson 3:49
Same.
Tim (Timmy) 3:50
So, you know, I gotta go up there to change my filter. Well, thankfully I have these what's called media filters, the big thick five inch ones, you know, and it's the sixteen by twenty five and it's five inches, and they're good for three months. Well you know what I'm not good at doing, JP? Remembering to change my air filter every three months. So I go when every time I remember it, I'm like Dude, it's probably been nine months, right? So I go up there.
JP Peterson 4:13
Go up in the attic and do it and there's spiders and yeah. Yeah, I hate and I
Tim (Timmy) 4:17
used to work at attics. I used to do energy audits for homes, dude, and I hated it then.
