Hockey show on a Tuesday, the week of the National Hockey League trade deadline, which comes up Friday. It's Judd, it's AJ. We'll be doing shows essentially every day this week, and then something live on Friday because there is a ton of speculation. There's a ton of questions out there, and so it's only fitting that we capitalize on this great time of year. Before we get to the Vinny Trocek rumors and what might be going on there as far as him being traded maybe to the wild, let's talk about Mystic Lake. Because, you know, I was once told you cannot stay, dine, and unwind all in one place. And Sports Dad says, oh, yes, you can. And have I got news for you because it's at Mystic Lake that you can do all three of those things.
The hat trick of fun. It all starts on the floor. You get the high energy table games. You get the hot slots. Catch an unforgettable night with the stars in the Mystic showroom. Head to the Hop House where we're actually going to be holding our Purple Daily draft party this year at the Hop House. ultimate hangout catch all the big games massive screens a great sports bar enjoy some great food as well uh great drinks wings nachos i could continue to go down this list you got the spa you got the hotel listen just take it from me if anyone says you cannot stay dine and unwind all in one place aj you say oh no no yes you can and it's this simple mystic lake.com just go to mystic lake.com to prove all of the naysayers the haters as we call them prove them wrong
All right, let's start with this, Age. And just to be clear here, if something changes, we're recording this at just around noon, 1144 on Tuesday. But there has been some more steam in the past couple days about Vincent Trocek, who we believe is the number one realistic option for The Wild, Carolina pursuing him as well. Detroit, maybe Pittsburgh. He's from Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh's without Sidney Crosby. He doesn't want to go west. It sounds like the farthest west he would possibly go is to Minnesota. But the athletic, Joe Smith and Michael Russo, do a really good job covering the Wild. They reported yesterday, and I saw this a couple places, that Bill Guerin, has made his, there is no doubt, they write, that the Wild, GM Bill Guerin, have made their one and final offer to the Rangers.
Guerin has a history of going straight to his final offer, not messing around. And this goes back to the Quinn Hughes trade, where he offered up Marco Rossi, Zeev Bulliam, Liam Ogren, and a first round pick. And basically told the Canucks, think about it. And I'm sure the Canucks then made some phone calls and said, this is the best that we can possibly do. And that ended up being the trade. In this case, AJ Fredrickson, are you buying that if Chris Drury comes back to Bill Guerin and says, all right, Billy, Carolina, Carolina, a little bit better than you. Can you sweeten the pot? Are you convinced that Bill Guerin will say, Chris, absolutely not. And slam down his old school phone into the holder and walk away to make meatballs.
I, I, I, I've, before I address that, I just want to say, I appreciate how Bill Guerin does business because he, just like anybody does you know go to the car dealership and the stereotype there or you know you go to whatever garage sale and it's this haggle back and forth you start at 20 i start at 10 after 17 back and forth so we arrive right in the middle at 15 he cuts right to the chase and the thing is this is great and it's bad because on one side that worked wonders for quinn hughes that gave uh the the canucks something to think about and ultimately was the best option This is where, though, in might, if he sticks to his guns and says, you know what, this is the offer that I gave you.
