Jane Wrightson is The Retirement Commissioner and part of her role is reviewing and reporting to the Minister of Commerce every 3 years on the retirement income policies implemented by the government so we explore her thoughts on some of the current retirement and pension settings. We explore KiwiSaver and what could be done better. Jane also oversees the National Strategy for Financial Capability to improve the financial capability of New Zealanders of all ages so that sees her overseeing the likes of Sorted.govt.nz Jane is focused on principled retirement policies that take a long-term view, so that the wellbeing of older New Zealanders is enhanced.We ask some of your questions and some of the answers will surprise you.
