And now a clip from my weekend show, The Kim Commando Show. It's pretty much the best radio show in the world, but I may be just a little biased. Sit back and enjoy. Were you ever bullied in school?
Oh, of course. For what? Usually my weight. And I was always the new kid. Why? We moved three times a year, sometimes five times a school year. Why so much? Because my mom was nuts. Okay. And she was running from something. So I didn't stay in one school until the seventh grade. I was constantly switching. So I was constantly the new kid and nobody likes the new kid. That's true.
We got a new person here on the show.

Chapter 2: How do social media platforms impact teen mental health?
We don't like her. No, they have to like, they have to like pass the test before we actually like. Oh, it takes a long time. And by the time I finally got in, I was gone onto the next school.
Well, I used to get made fun of all the time because of my last name.
Chapter 3: What are the implications of social media addiction for children?
Commando?
Yeah. Yeah, that's an easy target for that grade. I'd be like, oh, you go Commando.
Right. I'm like, you know what I do, so what? Well, then they were interested. Yeah, that's true. Now, this is actually kind of sad. Nude images of kids are spreading like viruses through schools. Most recently, a Louisiana middle school. The victim's teenage girls. The photo spread on social media created by teenage boys' classmates.
Estimates say that as many as one in eight kids, think of that, one out of every eight kids personally knows someone who's been a target of a deep fake photo or video.
Wow. My kids' parents, mom and I are going through this right now, because there's a bully at school. And what we're talking about is that how different it is today that the bullying doesn't end at 3 p.m. It goes until dinnertime. It goes till midnight. And on weekends, it's nonstop because you have access to each other at all times through so many different ways.
So how do you talk to your kids about this? Well, with my son, it's basically, we don't want you to communicate with this other kid anymore, because he's a bully. And my son's like, yeah, I know he's pretty rough, but he likes my son. And we're talking about if he could disconnects himself from him, what's going to happen because a bully is not going to stop.
And if you stop being friends with a bully, you're just going to become a victim. And it's interesting because they think my phone number is my son's phone number. So I constantly get added to group chat text messages. So you see everything. They are awful human beings. What do they say? The meanest things. And they will target one person in class or school or whatever.
And it is just this gang mentality. And everybody tries to be... And now... I'm not trying to say they're criminals or anything like that, but they're nine, what, 11 year olds?
Yeah, and they, you know, and even when they get to teenagers, I was just, when you were talking, I'm saying like, like there was one bully when Ian was going to high school and I'll never forget this because Ian just about slugged this kid. And it was like, they were picking on Ian. And he got to a certain point where he was like, just let it go, let it go, let it go.

Chapter 4: How is bullying on social media different from traditional bullying?
But when they caught, when one of them put in there like, your mom's a cougar. Okay, that's when he went ballistic. Everybody's got a line. Yeah, that was like, you can do thing, but not when you talk about my mom.
But we're trying to figure out right now how to deal with it because we know the social ramifications that could come after saying something could be a thousand times worse right now, which sucks, but it's real life. And plus it's permanent. Absolutely. Because whatever they put in writing. And these are gifted kids, so he's smart. He can figure stuff out.
Well, at least he's open enough that he's talking to you about it. Oh, absolutely. Yeah, we talk about it all the time. Hey, if you love staying tech ahead, then you're going to love, love, love.
