We really appreciate it.
Today's gaming news stories include Bethesda announces Fallout 5 and more of their future plans. God of War's TV show is recasting Kratos and Wolverine gets a new trailer. We'll have all of this and more because this is Kind of Funny Games Daily.
What is up, everybody? And welcome to Kind of Funny Games Daily for Friday, July 17th, 2026. I'm your host for today, freakin' Roger Picorni. I'm here with my main man, my number 1.1 snow bicycle mycicle.
Roger, freakin' Roger, you're my 1.1 big cat. And today we got a whole lot of positive news to talk about. Some exciting stuff to get into.
Yeah.
I can't wait, Rog.
There's so much stuff going on here. There's a lot of news stories and... I kind of want to just get into it. You want to get right into it? I want to get right into it. Let's dive right in. Let's just get right into it because remember, if you're watching live, be a part of the show, especially today. I want you guys to be super chatting all over the place over on youtube.com slash kindoffunnygames. I want to hear your thoughts on everything that Bethesda just announced. We couldn't do it without our Patreon producers over on patreon.com slash kindoffunny. So thank you, Carl Jacobs, Omega Buster, and Delaney, the psalm twining, and the lax nomad. For now, let's begin with what is and forever will be the Roper Report.
Da-da-da-da-da-da-da. It's time for some news!
Four stories today.
A baker's dozen.
Story number one. Fallout 5 is in pre-production. Fallout 3 and New Vegas are coming and more. We're going to start off with just a little... Headline right here is from Wario64. Bethesda Fallout 5 currently in pre-production, in development on Creation Engine 3. Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas remasters are in development. There is so much more to break down, but I kind of wanted to get the top level. You guys have seen the news. You guys have been talking about it all online. Mike, what do you think about this news?
Oh, Roger, I have a lot of thoughts on this news. There's a lot to break down. But you know what? I got a phone in my hand and I thought I'd call up my number one fan, someone who loves Bethesda games and it's excited for the future. Bethesda. Let me get them on the phone real quick.
My good friend, Greg Miller. It's your boy snow bike. Mike here live on a Friday edition of kind of funny games daily. How are you doing today?
I'm doing pretty good. All right, Mike. Here I am at my son's preschool graduation. You're doing great, Ben. You're doing great. But you're telling me, you're telling me that all the haters were wrong. You're telling me, Snowbike Mike, that Greg Miller once again was right. And Starfield continues. Go ahead. Booze. I'm seeing a lot of shocked faces in the chat this morning. A lot of shocked faces. But it's time you people understood. More than 17 million players. Almost a billion hours That's the power of Starfield, Mike. Do you believe it?
They didn't think it was going to take it to the stars like that, Greg. Three years, moving into year three of Starfield, and it's still alive.
And then when they're talking, what do we got, new Starborn content next year? That's happening. I see you, Roger. That shocked me. Yeah, it shocked me. And that's the thing about this, all right? I appreciate you, Mike. Roger, you've never done a damn thing for me. Chat, you've never done a damn thing for me. Everybody, you know, who showed up for my Starfield birthday stream? Very few of you I'll have you know, all right? And so you don't even deserve to share the air with me. Mike, I need to put you on hold. I'm going to conference in Todd Howard. We need a victory.
Can we get big Todd in here? Yeah, let's get him in. It's going to be Ben. Big deal right now. Big motion right now. No, he's calling Todd Howard. That's not happening.
We're, of course, awaiting Todd to be joining the call right now with Greg Miller and I. Because, like, he's got motion like that.
Hey, Todd Howard. Greg Miller.
