Today, in the nerdy news you need to know about, GTA 6 won't have a physical edition, Xbox is going to be more consistent with PS5 releases, and Walmart is leaking Nintendo games. We'll evolve this and more because this is Kind of Funny Games Daily.

What's up, everybody? Welcome to Kind of Funny Games Daily for Tuesday, January 27th, 2026. Three short months until my birthday. I hope you're all thinking about what you're going to get me. Okay. The big four three. The man that has it all. Yeah. What does he need? What do I need in life? You know what I mean? You know something I kicked around? Talk to me. Of course, Master Hype Snowbike Mike Gregg Miller. What up? I've thought about it before of asking... the audience and this is because this gets this gets don't do this okay because this is we're percolating everybody either for a sweatshirt or a t-shirt okay to their favorite local pizzeria burger restaurant on black you know or sweatshirts don't wear any color okay t-shirts would have to be black
Greg Miller 1:27
But I feel like that would be fun, of just wearing random. But then I run into the thing. Turns out this pizza place was run by Nazis, and I didn't know. You know what I mean? But I didn't know. I got to dig through the fucking local newspaper every time to find out what the owner said about whatever. You know what I mean? That's the problem. That's the problem for me.
Mike (Mike Mahardy / Mike) 1:41
But I do dig the idea. It's a cool idea, right? I really love the idea, actually. I mean, you're going above and beyond.
Greg Miller 1:45
I'm percolating. I'm percolating. Percolate on it. Percolate on it. Maybe I do the sweatshirt idea.
Mike (Mike Mahardy / Mike) 1:48
Maybe you do this. You have them send them all in. Me and Roger will go through the boxes, bet them. Then we put them in a new box. We give them to you.
Greg Miller 1:58
Yeah, that would solve a problem. You know what I mean? My crack team of investigators, Mike and Roger, digging through the box, Googling, trying to figure out what's going on. We'll Google it. I feel like I opened myself up. Mike, how was your Monday?
Mike (Mike Mahardy / Mike) 2:14
Great Monday was great. A lot of good energy, a lot of excitement. We got to talk Resident Evil 9 yesterday. You and I, we got to talk with the Scream Queen, the Queen of Screams. Easier to say that way. Madeline Stanley about more horror games, which was a ton of fun. Me, Andy Bless, playing more High Guard. It was a good start to the week. And then you opening up kind of funny games daily with some energy. Even better.
Greg Miller 2:36
That's what I do over here each and every day. Talk to me about High Guard. I want to know after... The closing bell. All right. The credits rolled on that stream. Linkin Park played. Everyone walked off to their houses. Yeah. Did you play more high guard? Did you go find something else to play? I played more high guard last night.
Mike (Mike Mahardy / Mike) 2:53
Okay. I call it the hang time boys. Sean Bowen. Oh, my main man, Grayson. Yeah. To say, hey, I need some energy. I need some big church. Were they already streaming it? Yeah. They played it all day, just like we did. And they played more with me. And we absolutely brought the energy. It was a lot of fun. Here's the thing.
Greg Miller 3:08
How many hours into High Guard are you in right now, you think?
Mike (Mike Mahardy / Mike) 3:13
Three. I'm probably like six to seven window right now. Six to seven on day one. And so I'm in. Here's the catch, Greg.
Greg Miller 3:21
There's a catch, everybody. Don't worry about it. Give them the one. There's a catch.
Mike (Mike Mahardy / Mike) 3:24
In the shooter market, we are always asking for unique and different ideas because we are bored of the generic battle royales. We are bored of the extraction shooters. Mind you, our creators, you did a great job. We love these games. And we want more of them. But we also want different games. We want you to bring something unique to this table that makes you say, oh, wow, that's fun. That's different, right? And the catch is when you get these, sometimes they're not that good or sometimes they're really good.
