I want to stand by him as a fellow Nigerian-American. Even though there's controversy, even though there's potential corruption an immigrant right uh i actually don't know a story like that i thought the whole thing was like that's funny that they you know that he's not playing well no trump made the call to like help out an immigrant oh i mean listen you know you know birthright citizenship he's trying to throw it out the window i mean listen as somebody who was born here and became a citizen because i was born here like fuck off shout out yeah shout out turn
Turns out we're very valuable to this nation, but that's neither here nor there. I am heartbroken by the loss last night, but also I watched, I watched like half the game. I had to go to Oakland. You know me. Oh gosh. But I watched the first half and I was like, I had to go home to Oakland. I watched the first half and I was like, yeah, USA, they don't have it. Belgium was just playing way better than us the entire game. Like, just if you look at the passing game, it was like USA was playing. It's like when I'm playing FIFA and I set it to easy mode and, They look like CPUs playing on easy mode. Whereas whenever Belgium had the ball, their ball movement was so fucking accurate and precise and clean. We just didn't have it.
I'll say this. It was nice to give up on the game early. However, as somebody who's... I'm not going to act like I care about soccer on that level. But I really, really want to. And I made a promise. Or not a promise, but a proposition to everybody. And I said, if you make me president... Everybody should vote me for president.

But another thing I would do is you want to play in – you're playing basketball and football. You're growing up in middle school, you know, peewee leagues. we will sponsor you to learn to play soccer. We will pay you to learn how to play soccer. You know, like sometimes work about, you know, employers will say like, Hey, well we'll sponsor you. You know, you can go learn a different language and we'll kind of pay for the classes or whatever.
Yeah.
Like, to whoever... Hey, we will pay you to go play soccer. Learn how to play soccer. I want that.
Right? Wouldn't that be awesome? I think it would be really cool if one day we at least got to the semifinals of a World Cup. But if we won it, if we ever won a World Cup, I think that changes American culture forever.
I think if they get close, it changes American culture forever. I just want this country to care about soccer. I think it gets the youngins wanting to get into that. You need to inspire the youngins.
Here's the thing. Obviously, here's the thing, right? World culture loves soccer, right? I think, in a way, to love soccer as an American makes you more connected to the world. It's so heartwarming when I go visit my nephews in Texas, and my nephew's really into soccer, loves soccer. And he's talking about, when I'm over there, he's talking about Mbappe, he's talking about Ronaldo, he's talking about Messi, and I'm like, this is a kid of culture.
