Double dip. We're double dipping. That's going live on YouTube as well. And then after that is Gamescast, which is my Death Stranding 2 preview. It's a half and a half sort of deal. All right. I played about 30 hours of Death Stranding 2 when I went to Tokyo for a week a few weeks ago. I talked all about it with the one and only Andy Cortez. That's the first half of the preview.
We talked for about 30 to 40 minutes. I also had a conversation with SkillUp and Dan Riker. Pretty cool. In Tokyo, we were like, yo, we should have a conversation since all three of us have played a lot of this fucking game. Between the three of us, at that point, we had the conversation. I think combined, it's about 70 hours, 70 to 90 hours, somewhere in that realm, that large window.
But it's a really good conversation. That's the second half of the Gamescast. I think it is a must-watch Gamescast. If you're interested in Death Stranding 2, or if you're not interested in Death Stranding 2, I think this is one that everybody's going to want to pay attention to. I got a lot to say about this game. I like it, Bless.

Chapter 2: What are today's highlights on Kinda Funny Games Daily?
Have somebody that you hype up, somebody that you talk about, somebody that you're able to push as, this is the successor to what I'm doing.
Another follow-up would be, do we need a Death Stranding 3? Sure, you've played it. I don't know how deep you can go, but I think after people played Death Stranding 1, many people thought maybe that's just going to be a one-and-done situation. I don't know if it's going to be the next... big franchise for Kojima Productions.
Now, you know, five years plus later, we're like, oh, we're getting Death Stranding 2. We're pretty excited about that. But are we going to be feeling the same way at the end of Death Stranding 2 where it's, I need a three. I want to conclude this trilogy. I want to know more about these plate gates and the other stories around the globe as you referenced Australia, right?
Am I going to leave this game going? I need to go to whatever other continent and I need to see what's happening there.
I could see it. I mean, so I played 30 hours. They said that up to the part that they expected us to get to in Death Stranding 2, we would have played about 40% of the game in 30 hours. Okay, wow. Wow. I know, right? With playing what I've played, I think there's plenty of room to make more Death Stranding. And that's not even me speaking from a narrative perspective.
That's more so me speaking of the gameplay being the fact that Death Stranding 2 And you're going to hear me say this during the preview, because I think I said this multiple times during the things that we recorded that are coming as the games cast, right? This is the rare direct sequel that is almost purely iterating on top of what Death Stranding 1 has done, right?
As far as what I played so far in the first 40%, there could be a twist after what I played. I have no idea. But when you think about what Kojima usually does, Metal Gear Solid 2, way different game from Metal Gear Solid 1. You're playing as a different character. That jump from PS1 to PS2 kind of makes the gameplay feel different. MGS2 to MGS3, it's a prequel now.
You've gone back in time during, I believe, the Cold War, right? It is a different sort of feel of being in the jungle as opposed to being on the big shell. You jump to Metal Gear Solid 4, different ass-feeling game. You jump to MGS5, very different game, right? Kojima loves to...
throw twists in there he loves to like innovate on like what he's doing he loves to try different things and Death Stranding 2 feels so much like Death Stranding 1 in all the good ways it is taking in all of the um and man I don't want to get my preview here because I don't want to spoil it right but I

Chapter 3: What can we expect from Death Stranding 2?
