Probably the I I had somebody who's kind of a UK football historian tell me they thought maybe the sixth or seventh biggest win in UK football history. Amazingly, the sixth time we've beaten a top ten team on the road, three of the last four uh uh or three of the six have been in the last four years, which is really strange. But this one felt different than the Louisville win a few years ago and the old Miss win because Kentucky dominated the game, really. I mean they in the first half it was tied, but Kentucky was the better team And then the third quarter may be one of the best quarters in UK football history. I'm gonna go ahead and say it's the best quarter I've ever seen a UK football team play.

And then they hung on in the fourth quarter and get the win. Drew, since you didn't host the show, I'll start with you. There's gonna be a lot there's a lot of stuff I wanna talk to you about the game. Uh uh specifics. But just overall. What w w what it w what is your feeling about what this win does for the football program, Will Stein, the fan base, et cetera? Is i is it as massive as it feels in this moment?

It definitely does. I know we all wanted Alabama, but we're fine waiting a week later to get the big signature win for Will Stein. I think it it really changes like the the calculus on this season. I mean you're thinking bowl now if you're gonna go beat number nine on the road. Now every other game on the schedule looks winnable. So to for him to go ahead and get his signature win as a coach in his second SEC games is awesome, but I think it raises the bar for everyone's expectations this year. This year, at least it should, because I don't think anyone really expected that, so now you're a little ahead of uh your pace to get towards uh six wins or whatever you want your expectation to be.

And Ryan, when you win a game like that, I mean there you can win games like that and go, Oh, you played the perfect game, or you got a big turnover in this moment, or you had, you know, uh uh a really insane individual performance.

That's not what this was. This was a game where Kentucky won the way teams in the top ten would normally beat a team like Kentucky. Controlled the line of scrimmage, had breaks go against them, but still were able To persevere, made the big throw, made the big stop, individual efforts from a lot of different guys that in a particular moment had to make a play and did, and a game plan where one coach out schemed the other. I mean, if you were to have turned that though that television on on Saturday and you didn't know who was who, you were, you know, somebody from a foreign country watching, you would have thought, Well, Kentucky's the top. top ten. Only a top ten team's going to go on the road and beat somebody in their environment like that.
