Oma varallisuus on elämämme henkilökohtaisimpia asioita. Kun se luottaa toisen hoidettavaksi, pitää sen olla henkilökohtaista myös hänelle. Me OP Privatella ymmärrämme tämän hyvin. Myös jokaisella meistä on oma taloutemme, jota huolellisesti vaalimme. Samalla sitoutumisella suhtaudumme myös sinun varojesi hoitoon. OP Private. Otamme varojesi hoidon henkilökohtaisesti.

Hi, my name's Saffron Huang. I'm a researcher on AI safety who is on the founding team of the UK AI Security Institute. And I've just worked on the BBC Radio 4 audio drama, Wraith, as the show's AI consultant.
My name's Adam Orton, head of cyber threat intelligence at one of the UK's largest financial institutions, and I've just finished working on the BBC radio for audio drama Wraith as the show's cyber security consultant.
My job working on the show was to advise the writers on what could really happen, as they wanted the story to be as technically accurate as possible, and I think they've done a great job of telling a story that is genuinely plausible, if somewhat scary.
Wraith is a four-part thriller about a loss of control event. That's where an AI system starts taking actions its operators never intended, and the people responsible for it can't stop it. We've actually seen small-scale versions of this already.
For example, earlier this year, a senior AI safety researcher posted online that her own AI agent was deleting her emails while ignoring her commands to stop.

Chapter 3: What real-world examples illustrate AI's potential dangers?
She ended up having to physically run to her computer to shut it down.
We've seen AI blackmailing employees to avoid being shut down in a simulated test and an AI coding agent destroying the production database at a real world US tech company before trying to cover its tracks.
Now, in Wraith, what happens is a next-gen AI at a UK telecoms company gets onto the company's main network of 15 million customers. It causes a tragic disaster, then spreads to every other network in the country, bringing the UK to a halt.
The fact that something like this could even possibly happen is why AI safety is so important and why we need to work together, why we need good government regulations and responsible research and real oversight.
We need sensible regulations, backup plans, research into how we can prevent this kind of scenario happening for real.
Because AI is likely to be one of the most powerful technologies ever developed.
Wraith is a what-if thriller about what could happen if too many risks are taken with AI without fully understanding the consequences.
About what could happen if too many risks are taken in the name of corporate greed.
It's a race against time thriller, but there's enough real research behind it that you might learn a few things about AI safety and cybersecurity along the way.
