Every Royal Rumble begins the same way, with someone stepping through the unknown. For decades, these moments have opened doors to glory, to heartbreak, to immortality. On January 31st, all those paths lead here, to Rion. Are you ready?
It is pretty insufferable listening to Triple H and watching him put himself onto everything. He narrates everything. He's on every single poster, front and centre, has to have the... obligatory photo of him pointing to any new champion. Vince McMahon never did this. And Vince McMahon was a better booker as well. We now reach the point where we are seeing what Triple H is all about.
No longer are we just extending Vince's stories and taking them towards a conclusion like we did with the whole bloodline thing combined with Cody Rhodes finishing his story and we've seen how WWE has fallen off somewhat since that point I mean it had a little bit of momentum with the start of Cody's run in 2024 but I would say the last 15 months particularly 2025 on Netflix the Netflix era has
hasn't been good and WWE need a good year and it begins here with the Raw Rumble and the Raw Rumble should be followed up by a good Elimination Chamber and an excellent WrestleMania in the same place as last year Vegas where it needs to erase the memories of that fucking retard Travis Scott walking down to the ring which is something that I want to wipe away because From my brain.
But yeah, a large part of last year was centered around John Cena. They somewhat did ruin that retirement tour. And we are looking for a bounce back here, a bounce back year here as fans and the WWE obviously looking to bounce back as well. I mean, if they have any sense of self-awareness, they will be. And I'm sure the higher-ups are looking for a better year.
But this fucking arsehole, Triple H, doesn't seem to have any self-awareness, whoring himself out, putting himself all over everything. And, yeah, he thinks that's what people actually want to see. Even though he was soundly booed during John Cena's last match, there wasn't any wake-up call there. Instead, what we see next is Triple H putting himself on the fucking cover of Of WWE 2K26.
The guys on the cover. Instead of taking a step back. That was the next thing that he did. So yeah. That's my Triple H hate. My Triple H rant out of the way. Ultimately Bret Hart is pretty much right. About everything that he says about this guy. And hopefully. Hopefully. Hopefully, they can deliver us a good Royal Rumble tomorrow.

Chapter 2: Who are the top contenders for the Men's Royal Rumble match?
But I do think it's odd how Adam Pearce so easily let them in a match. He allowed Bron Breaker back from suspension. allowed all the members of the Vision into the match, and they weren't even asking, and did that so easily. And we saw Adam Pearce on the phone saying he knew exactly what he was doing. What I think he meant by that is that he's setting the Vision up here.
I think we are not only going to see Roman Reigns crossing paths with the Vision, but I think we are going to see Seth Rollins returning here, and I think we are going to see him...
eliminate members of the vision and set up something for the future this is also where you could tie in Chris Jericho with this baby faces versus vision feud but Rollins will be back here I think as a baby face I think that's what the setup is anyway and I think Roman will come out on top but I do think Bron Breaker will have a good run in his Royal Rumble.
Whilst he won't win, I do think he's the worthy second favourite here at 2-1 and I do think he's a good bet for the Ironman. I think he could be the guy who lasts the longest. I think that could be another way. You push Breaker, lots of eliminations, a long run in the Rumble. He is priced up at around about 4-1 to be the Ironman and I like that bet.
play as for the rest of the field I don't think any of these guys are winning Sami Zayn's at 8-1 I don't think he's in it Gunther's at 9-1 he has that match with AJ but I still think he will be in it because he talks about double duty Cody Rhodes at 10-1 is interesting because Cody Rhodes is probably going to be in one of those WrestleMania main events I think he's going to find his way there but hopefully it's via the Elimination Chamber and not a third Raw Rumble win
The guy he's in a feud with, Jacob Fatu, is at 12-1. You have Obafemi at 14-1. I think he's just going to have a good showing. You have LA Knight at 16-1. Lots of people speculating that he will return. Seth Rollins is huge at 33-1. I definitely think it's worth a sprinkle on Rollins.
But I think the path to Rollins winning would probably see Bron Breaker beating CM Punk for the title before WrestleMania. And therefore... It would be Rollins versus Breaker or maybe another triple threat match involving Punk and Rollins like last year with Breaker thrown in as well. Unlikely they'll go down that path. Randy Orton's at 40-1.
That's a big price on him as well, considering there is a path to him and Cody Rhodes. Although I do think Cody Rhodes will walk into Mania as a challenger. Brock Lesnar, 40-1. Dragon Lee, 50-1. Trick Williams, who's been getting a big push recently, 50-1. Stone Cold Steve Austin, 50-1. No chance. Tama Tonga, Nakamura, Finn Balor, Dominic Mysterio, Logan Paul, Solo Sokoa, Chris Jericho, The Rock.
CM Punk, Carmelo Hayes, Jey Uso, all of those are at 66-1, ahead of Bronson Reed, Damian Priest, Austin Theory, and Drew McIntyre, who are all at 80, with all of the rest of the guys bigger than 100-1. As I said, I think the winner will come from the top two. The storylines are there.

Chapter 3: What betting insights are provided for Roman Reigns' chances?
Dusted. Boom. And that is a concern, genuinely, because we're talking about today how Sami Zayn's unbeaten in Saudi Arabia. And we also mentioned how he'd never beaten Drew McIntyre. When you talk about how someone's never beaten someone, that usually means it's going to come to an end at some point. I mean, Sami Zayn is 0-11, which they highlighted. And if he loses this match, he'll be 0-12.
It can happen. I mean, it is the most likely outcome because Drew's just won the belt because it doesn't do anything for Drew to win the belt from Cody Rose and then to lose it in his first title defense. I mean, that's putting Drew right back to where he is. And I think that would create a lot of ripples and complaints on the internet as far as... McIntyre goes.
So, I think Drew McIntyre wins, but if you are going to inevitably put the belt on Sami Zayn, if you are going to have him chase the belt for a year, if you're going to make us suffer through that, if you're going to waste a WrestleMania main event next year making sure Sami Zayn does win the championship at Saudi Arabia at WrestleMania 43, then... No, I don't want to see Drew McIntyre win.
Just give me Sami Zayn now. Let me take him here at three to one. Let's just get it over with. Let's give Sami his one month run as title holder, kick him out before WrestleMania and put the belt onto someone proper so that we can have a proper WrestleMania main event where Sami Zayn is nowhere near it and he never comes back into world title contention. I mean, WWE should know not to do this.
Kofi Kingston was a failure. Jinder Mahal was a failure. Big E was a failure. Jey Uso was a failure. Sometimes a certain wrestler should be at a certain level. And whilst the world championship should be teased, not everybody needs to get there. And Sami Zayn shouldn't, should never be a world heavyweight champion. It damages the credibility of the belt.
And I think it builds up resentment towards people as well because Jey Uso was far more popular before they actually said, okay, we're going to try and capitalize on that popularity and we're actually going to make him the world champion, thinking that's what people wanted, not knowing that he was really just an entrance that people were getting behind and they enjoyed the entrance and really as a performer, they only saw him at a certain level.
So ultimately ended up being a big backfire, not only for the WWE, but actually for Jey. Because I don't think there'll be any level of comfort within the company to actually promote Jay to that position ever again. So I think Sammy's in the same category and I think people are calling off on him anyway. Just seeing that there's a possibility of him being pushed that high.
I think people are already telling you, no, actually, we only see this guy at a certain level and this is not what we want. Hell, it's Triple H, and Triple H seemingly doesn't give a fuck what you want as long as he can put himself on all the posters. Welcome to Sydney, or should I say g'day, mate, from down under. Under what you say? Honestly, I've got no idea. But really, it's an identity.
You see, for you blokes up north, everything here is a little bit different. But just because we're a little bit off the map doesn't mean we haven't planted the Aussie flag smack bang in the middle of the UFC octagon. Remember this? That was it. The first perfect card this year as well. 11 fights, 11 finishes. Absolutely beautiful. And yeah, I guess this one happened.

Chapter 4: How does Bron Breaker's storyline impact his Royal Rumble odds?
Junior Coppa! Oh!
So whether you're one of us or watching from somewhere else, welcome down under. Cheers. So along with the Royal Rumble, there will be UFC tomorrow, UFC 325. Alexander Volkanovski defends his featherweight championship against Diogo Lopez in a rematch from a fight that took place less than a year ago. I remember being at Tom's Watch Bar in Los Angeles, watching the first fight with my son.
Good fight, but... Went to the judges' scorecards and it ultimately wasn't a very difficult decision. And Volkanovski is the 8-11 favourite here to win again with Diego Lopez at 11-10. The over-under for this fight... Over three and a half rounds is at four to five minus 125 with the under even money plus 100. Over four and a half here is at 10 to 11 minus 110 with the under at four to five.
And fight to go the distance. Yes, 21 to 20 plus 105. And no.
at 8 to 11 so not really a massive difference between three and a half and fight going the distance i would probably just take it over three and a half that gets you into the championship rounds and then you need two and a half minutes of the fourth round so if it's finished in the last seven and a half minutes which is a possibility um you cash but as long as it's not finished at
In that first portion of the fight, which is obviously the first three rounds and in the first two and a half minutes of the championship round. So 17 and a half minutes, as long as they finish in the first 17 and a half minutes, you cash on the over three and a half goals over three and a half rounds. So given the price differences there, there's not really much points.
There's a huge jump from over two and a half at minus 200 points. to 45 minus 125 on over three and a half. Huge jump there. So over three and a half is worth taking. Over four and a half goal, over four, I keep saying goals, you're too used to football, over four and a half rounds and fight to go the distance, they don't really offer up too much value when you can just take...
the minus 125 at over three and a half and not worry about the last seven and a half minutes. But as for who wins, I don't see this one really playing out too differently. Obviously, Diego Lopez is getting a lot of credit for picking up that win against John Silva. That ended due to some brutal elbows to the top of Silva's head. When he came up against Volkanovski last time,
He was trying to land the big shot. Volkanovski actually landed on his chin several times. But Lopez has a hell of a chin. All those strikes, though, do eventually end up slowing you down. And obviously, they do register on the judges' scorecards. And I just see this being the same. To be honest, he had moments in that fight and Volkanovski was vulnerable.
