Okay, firstly, before we get to the drama, let's start this episode on a high and, you know, let's have some positivity on our Sunday morning.
And that takes me to Philip and Stella, because not only are they still together, as we all kind of know, because we've seen the TikToks of them.

And firstly, there's Gia and her little squad. As I said in a previous podcast, her and Scott, they do break up on the show.
And since that happened, Gia has actually replaced him with another man in her life. And that is Gay Chris. And usually I wouldn't say like gay Chris, because I wouldn't want someone to say gay Josh, but that's to kind of differentiate him between dickhead Chris, the other Chris. We've got two Chris's this year. We've got two of everything. Two Steve's, two Rebecca's.
Chapter 5: What does the friendship between Gia and Gay Chris suggest about her breakup?
Anyway, Gia and gay Chris, they're now besties. They're inseparable. Like since filming wrapped, she's been to stay on his farm. Even December 8th last year, you can Google this. There's a whole Daily Mail article. They were posing for photographers arm in arm, on the media wall of an Activewear PR launch event in Sydney.
And like, they weren't just there publicly promoting their friendship, but to me, they were already publicly promoting themselves as like wannabe influencers amongst this scene of people that go to Activewear launches. Is that something we aspire to do in life? Like, remember, this was six weeks before the show even started airing on TV.

No one knew who these people are. And if you're now thinking, well, where's Sam? Where's Chrissy's new husband? We've just watched them get married and they seem to be going well. Like, surely they're still together. Surely Sam's going to accept the fact that Chrissy is having two kids. One of them's already here and, you know, they're now living the big gay dream. Well.
Now, as far as I believe, they either split up on the show or they've split up since the show ended. That I'm not sure if I need to figure out. And if you're now questioning like, nah, surely Josh, surely they'll make it work. They seem to really hit it off. To me, the proof is the fact that, you know, on one side, group one, we've got Chris and Gia besties.
And then on the other side, also the same week, Chris and Gia were at that event in December. I've now seen a picture of what I'm calling group two, and that's Sam hanging out, having a quiet lunch in Adelaide with Beck, Alyssa, and Rachel.

And then, you know, we've got Gia and Chris as the main ones. Brooke is also a part-time member of that, but she's not very active at the minute. She's kind of just staying hidden, which is probably for the best. And also in that group, we've got Rebecca and Mel, who are more like your silent followers. And I'm going to say something potentially controversial here. And I liked Rebecca on the show.
I thought she was lovely. I liked how she kind of stood her own against old mate Steve. And she seemed quite genuine, but to me, The fact that not only didn't she speak up during that second dinner party, you know, as her friends, her closest people on the show were bullying other women. To me, that was a bit like, oh, I'm not sure about that.
And, you know, fair enough, we could argue, well, maybe she stepped away from the dinner table or she missed some of it or she did say something, but it was edited out. But I think another telling thing is, like, as the show is airing on TV now and people are seeing the extent of everybody's awful behavior, which they may not have been across before,
during filming like for them to then still decide that yep that's someone i want in my life as my friend like to me i'm just a bit like ah yeah i'm not sure about that in january it was also gia's birthday and not gay chris original chris aka dickhead chris him being in attendance made perfect sense but i was a little surprised and disappointed to see
luke amongst that mix and although luke is a bit of a floater he seems to be friends with most people one of the people he does appear closest to like since filming wrapped is original dickhead chris which again to me is a bit sus because what's that saying like you are the friends you keep how i just made that up i'm not sure I don't know.
I just feel like, yeah, like if you're friends with these people, what does it say about you? I haven't done a script for this episode. Sorry for rambling. I'm slightly hungover. I've barely got any voice. But speaking of the man we're now even closer to forgetting, a.k.a. original dickhead Chris.
