All right, Zach, I am super pumped to have you here. And I want to start this one a little bit differently than most because I think we would both agree that basketball is awesome. And I think we also agree that basketball is more than just putting a ball through a hoop. And we've learned a lot of things from it, and we hope to give back to people. So I want to start this one so everyone who watches this at least gets familiar with it. Can you tell us a little bit about Celia's hoops? What is it? What are you trying to accomplish?
Yeah, I mean Celius Hoops is kind of just a way to give back to high school basketball teams um in the state of Utah. Just because of how much it's done for me in my life, how much it does for, you know, my friends that have grown up, you know, played high school basketball, gone on to do other things. The experience of high school basketball and what we did shaped kind of who we are and what CellU Soups is doing is just kind of something for me and my wife to just like be able to build. No, be able to have something beyond basketball, something to help these youth buying uniforms, buying these things that are just so essential for a team to be able to compete and do these things. And so that's what we just try to help do is just be able so that they can focus on basketball.
Legend. They can focus on the Those um events that they're doing and that kind of thing in their life that they can just focus on strictly that and not have to worry about, you know, can I even play? Can I can I even have a basketball at practice? Can I, you know, get a uniform and these types of things. So CellU's hoops is kind of just a way to get back and to be able to build that and you know, we do that through golf, which makes makes it even more fun. So it's it's yeah, it's just more than basketball.
I think you just wrapped up a tournament recently, correct?
Yeah. So we wrapped up year three of our tournament. Shout out Primo. Yeah. That that helped us do that. So yeah, it's just you know, golf is fun and so it's just a way that's us basketball players that don't know how to play golf can actually do it for fun and like feel like we're we're a little bit legit. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah.
I love that. Is there other ways people can get involved that isn't through the golf tournament? Like if they can't make it in that specific time of year?
Yeah, I mean we we have donations. You can always donate to help um build it. Uh we have on our website on Cellus Hoops, you can, you know, donate to the cause and and do all those types of things. And so we'll just kinda see if we can keep building it to something bigger. But as of now, we know it's you know kind of be the beginning of it all. So we're just seeing where it kinda takes us.
Yeah. No, I love that. And again, this isn't how I usually start them, but like if I don't want to bring this up two hours into this so that the people can actually get it at the beginning because aga I agree with you. I mean, being on the coaching staff here, I was asking our head coach yesterday. What are the costs to even run the program? He's like, Well, just to give you an idea, just to give like the travel, so sweatpants, the jacket. for the team and you have fifty people on a high school staff, at least we're six A, he's like, That's ten grand. Yeah. Just just for two pieces of stuff. That's not even the basketballs. That's not even everything else that goes into it. So it is expensive. And so to have that is I think a good thing.
Yeah. So hopefully it helps. Let's uh I have a research department, which actually is my dad and he likes going into all like learning all these things. But I wanted to talk we'll start with your high school career because I think there's so many interesting things from your high school career and then we'll get into kind of college, your professional career and everything else. But your high school career at Bountiful, how much does the game your sophomore year of losing at a buzzer beater at at a half court buzzer beater still stick with you?
