PAUSE So, take a moment to breathe, Just being in the moment, Just being connected to yourself and your immediate surroundings. PAUSE Notice any noises near you, Any aromas that tickle your nose, And any sensations that feel good. Stay with them. PAUSE And, now imagine A beautiful white bird, Dipping down so you can Ride on her wings. PAUSE And the bird will take you To any place you desire, To see anything you want, And you say, “Paris.” PAUSE After a moment of soaring, You and this magnificent bird Are circling the Eiffel Tower, And then the Arc d’ Triomph. PAUSE The musical sounds Of the French language Are wafting in the air, And in your heart. PAUSE And with every site you see, Feel your heart singing, And the joy hovering in your body. Stay with it. PAUSE Minutes later, Imagine the bird is gliding over The Sydney Opera House In Australia, Where you hear The sometimes chaotic, But always beautiful sounds of Beethoven Reverberating in the air. Again, your heart is moved. PAUSE Soon, the bird carries you back To your home, Where she gently Lets you down. PAUSE You pause before jumping off, because you want to see more. So, the bird gently taps you With her wing, And you understand: The world is yours to explore. PAUSE So take that understanding And breathe into it. Keep it close in your heart.
