Lisa Fong, exercise extraordinaire. Oh, gosh. Wow, that's a big call.
Thanks. Yeah. Just sort of posted a selfie because that's what I do best. Yeah. And was so proud of myself because, like, it's really hard for me. Yeah. And even though like this started because of me sharing my workouts many years ago, that's probably, I still found that really hard back then. And I find it really hard the same. And it's quite interesting because I do think like when we went to that pub that night and the guy was like, oh, but you girls won't eat the pork belly. We're like, what? Like, yes, we would. Whereas, yes, we would find exercising like regularly hard.
Yeah, I think people sometimes think it comes real easy, doesn't it?
I've got a good friend that actually said to me, well, it's true, it is easier for you than it is for me. And I'm like, okay, it may be. Yes, but I don't know how that works in my brain. I can't work that out because I still find it quite hard.
Was she saying that, like, she wasn't saying that because of your lifestyle or flexible job or... No, she's a stay-at-home mum of four.
Oh, yeah, okay. Oh, no, she does work, but she's flexible with her work.
So just literally like her desire to exercise, her motivation to exercise, it's harder for her. Yes. Yeah. I mean, it could be true. And I think, though, that what might have happened is over the last however many years that you have just like made yourself and committed to it and been disciplined to do it no matter what, it means maybe it is slightly easier for you just because you've been doing it for all that time. But.
It's interesting in a way.
How do heated rivalries affect personal relationships?
And of course, everyone's different with what's easier to do for others. Like some people find drinking water really easy. I don't. It's easier. I could say the same thing, you know, or like some people smash a packet of biscuits. I would find that quite hard. You know, we're all different, I suppose. So I do have to recognize that we are all different, but it still doesn't mean that it's not hard for me. So when I did post that picture of myself, it was really genuine in the fact that it's hard for me too. I liken my regular selfie takies, regular selfie uploads to your regular lip syncing reels.
Sometimes I think someone was messaging about social media and I, I do think if you can just care less and just like not care about what, how you're received, if you can actually just like try not to care, it's, it can be quite fun.
Absolutely. But also you've got your desire. I think you find it easy just to bust out songs. Like I'm not, I'm not really like that. Like I don't do that day to day. Like I don't do that in private. Do you know what I mean? Like, I don't ever do that. And if I did, I'd love to put it on socials, but I'd never do it. So your happiness and zest for life of doing musical singing is your thing. And I would argue in the fact that i don't sing in the shower i don't do that i need to have more maybe a bit more fun in my life so possibly i could make a challenge for me to do things like that but it doesn't really fill me with the joy that it fills you but it fills me with the joy when i'm with you doing it like doing that song that song you posted that was the biggest feel good that was wonderful wonderful in capitals for me that what is that song
I'll give you one, amigo.
I've forgotten the words that I just did yesterday, Puerto Rico song. But the thing is, I go through patches, I must say, of almost forgetting. And we could liken this analogy for exercise. I can forget how powerful it is and then I go and drive somewhere and I put the music and I nearly pop the speakers in the car with how loud I have it and how I sing along to these songs and I think this has changed my mood so much and I will forget that that has that power much like if you're far away from a workout you forget how powerful exercise can be.
