And in the summer of 2026, It's a question that went to trial, which has rapidly become the most infamous and controversial in modern history. Today, we are going to walk through that trial. And as a disclaimer, we want to let everyone know that we are presenting both perspectives. the testimony of both the defense and the prosecution we have spent countless hours watching every second of the trial reading the documents and laying it all out for you so regardless of what side you're on you're going to hear some things that you might not like things that challenge your preconceived notions about this case
But that's the nature of a trial, isn't it? And lastly, one thing we think it's important to emphasize is that three children are no longer here. Their last moments were spent in terror. They won't get to grow up. The deaths of Cora, Dawson, and Callan are absolutely horrific. And at the core of this, whether you believe this is a case about pure evil, a case of a mentally ill woman, or something else entirely, what happened here is a tragedy. It's July, 2026, and in coastal New England, that means it's the highlight of the year, midsummer. It's an escape from the darkness of winter and the mud of spring. But in a courthouse in Plymouth, Massachusetts, for five long weeks, everyone called to testify remained frozen in time as they discussed one cold winter night. january 24th 2023 the night that resulted in the deaths of cora dawson and kallen clancy over three years after the children's deaths the courtroom is filled to the brim with reporters all ready to catch a glimpse of the woman on trial 36 year old lindsey clancy it's the first day of her murder trial a trial that will determine the rest of lindsey's life A hush falls over the courtroom.
A door opens, and there she is, the woman accused of murdering her children. Lindsay Clancy is sitting in her wheelchair, paralyzed from the sternum down. As she's wheeled to the defense table, she keeps her head lowered. She doesn't look at the cameras, at her family, at the media, all desperate to meet her eye and see what lies inside her. She continues staring into her lap. even as Judge William Sullivan addresses the jury, who just took an oath to try this case.
