Or she is so hideous that a glimpse of her milky-white face sends the victim into a three-day slumber. No one knows, because she is hidden behind a mask. What will her people see on the day she uncovers her face? Performed with music, dance, spectacular sets and costumes, AMAVASYA is an entertaining and humorous fairy-tale for grown-ups – both dark-skinned and light-skinned ones. The play, performed in 2014 was a Knight Foundation Grant winner.
