Chapter 1: What is discussed at the start of this section?
This is an iHeart Podcast. Guaranteed human. I'm Daniel Alarcón, and this is my friend who's much more famous than I am. I wouldn't go that far, but I'm John Green, co-host of the podcast The Away End with my old friend Daniel. On our podcast The Away End, we'll share with you the magic of international football, all leading up to the 2026 World Cup.
Together, we'll find out why, of all the unimportant things, football, soccer, is the most important. Listen to The Away End with Daniel Alarcon and John Green on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. This is Julian Edelman, host of Games With Names.
On our latest episode, we got comedian Blake Anderson from Workaholics and the hilarious This Is Important podcast. Let's go! We did beat them in improv. You had an improv against the team? Yes, we would pull up their schools, would be there with signs for us. It's competition. What you would win is a bottle of Goldschlager. James Fester threw it out of a van because he didn't want us drinking it.

This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated. So let's get to it. Listen to The Clifford Show starting on April 20th on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Welcome to the new Rory and Maul show. Anytime we do an intro, it means we have a guest because we try to impress them, make them think that we are a real podcast. Try to have some manners and some structure here. It's just Maul and I, we just start fucking talking. But, you know, episode 23 of the new Rory and Maul podcast. Welcome, listeners. Brought to you by nobody. Well, somebody.
Stitcher, Sirius, more sauce. Okay. It's brought to you and us and Damaris. Brought to you by Damaris. Yes. We have a guest today. We do. I'm excited about this guest, let me be honest with you. This was the first guest I think we booked after the deal. It just took some time with scheduling on both our ends.

Chapter 2: How does the introduction of the guest unfold?
And in the room, Wheezy said, I'm going to invest in you. I will invest my hard earned money in you. And like, I'm not going to cry today. I promised myself I wasn't going to cry, but we'll try. No, I'm not doing it.
I'll cry with you. He will. I've seen him do it. I'm a crier.
Oh, me too.
Crying is fun.
Yeah.
Okay.
Oh, I'm going to cry probably. But she, she championed, Sorry, I just heard that.
Yes, Weezy's amazing. She is great.
Sidebar, can I share something with you guys?

Chapter 3: What insights does Brianda share about her dating experiences?
He is so... He smokes... I smoke weed and I'm a Christian. That already is like tough for people to swallow. But there is a very large stoner Christian community and we actually exist and we're actually really awesome. And we don't look at it as, you know, of course, everything can be abused. It says everything in moderation, right? Paul says everything in moderation. But... He smokes weed.
We go on this awesome date. He really was great. Honestly, I'm not even just saying that. For a moment there, I almost forgot he was about his height. So I said, oh no, I'm going to go on a second date.
What inch stiletto did you have on?
No, no, no. Actually, it was something like this. Because it was winter or fall, so it was cold. So I had like a... I'm 5'6", so what would this make me? 5'9", 5'10"? Somewhere around there. So imagine that...
that uh gap compromise just so you gotta wear a ones with them all the time never so listen the next day i but i take them on the second day because i know again this is beyond me it's not about what i want it's about what the lord wants for me and that's something that's tough for people to hear but that's what it is when you're when you are a worshiper a god-freeing person it's not about what you want or what you believe um what was so amazing about the date though
The fact that we were so spiritually aligned, it was very attractive to me. Very attractive. And it feels so good to not have to explain myself with certain things. I feel that.

Chapter 4: How does Brianda reconcile her faith with modern dating practices?
When I date black guys and I show up in my hair, it's like a different thing. They know me. I feel like because they had black mothers, they just know. They know when there's hair on the floor and they don't care about that shit. You put your bonnet on. You know what I'm saying? It's like that familiarity only in the spiritual realm.
You know, I felt really safe and it felt really good where I can go on my high tanges and communicate in my ways. And he knows exactly what to call back to. Very wise. A man that honestly, all the makings that I want for a husband. He gave me amazing advice on things and I could see myself bettering me as a person.
So you're ghosting him for what reason again?
So the second date happens. And for whatever reason, maybe it's my state. Maybe it's the climate. Maybe it's, I don't know what it is.
Chapter 5: What are the implications of celibacy in relationships according to Brianda?
Maybe. Yeah. Who knows? I wasn't quite as gracious on him. I don't know. And oh, wait, I do. I hated his shirt that he had on. There are a couple of things.
What kind of shirt did he have on?
Like, oh, this like, I don't know. Oh, and his shoes.
He was ready for the baby shower? What kind of shoes did he have on? He had actual shoes on?
Like running shoes?
Did they have a little...
something again you're great oh wait that's not it we don't want to you know you really are great and i'm gonna i'm gonna hit you up and i really want to be friends no stop it i just want to talk to him for a second i just want to let him know okay so it was so much spiritual connection and then he wore uh stop hitting her phone she's not gonna hit you back
I'm just helping a brother out. Was it a US polo assassin shirt? Like what was it? Assassin. I tried to forget it. You know that brand. Association.
This was the thing. This was the straw that broke the camel's back. And when I said, oh, this is the last date I'm going to go on. Lord, I said, abort mission, Lord, abort mission. The goodbye. He went to kiss me on the cheek and he had to go like this.

Chapter 6: How does Brianda view the intersection of spirituality and sexuality?
to do it.
You guys, I don't, this is like the equivalent of a woman picking you up and putting you on the bed. How would that make you feel? Rory?
I would love it.
You want a woman to pick you up and throw you on the bed?
I don't care. It might be. What if it's our submission night? I don't care. What if we're trading places? Yeah. No, I don't care. As long as that's followed by some nasty, sloppy head. You can throw me anywhere you want with that.
Okay, Rory, how do you feel about what I said? Do you understand what I mean?
Like, first... Well, I'm going towards sexual stuff, and I know that's not what you're talking about. But first night, if Shorty lifted me up, I might feel some type of a way. If we've been talking for a while and I already know my dominance in that capacity, yeah, we could trade places.
I don't ever want to pick up my man. Ever. I mean, I'm slimmed down a little bit too.
Maybe I want to show her how much weight I've lost. So you had to kind of like scooch down to give him a kiss on the cheek.
