Chapter 3: What went viral over the weekend?
It was almost scary at times how much he sounded like Michael, how much he looked like Michael, his mannerisms. And it was so great that I'm, I would not be surprised if it came out that they use CGI in a lot of scenes to kind of like,
alter his face a little bit because that's that's how much he it was hard to tell that it wasn't like you really forgot that that wasn't Michael in some scenes yeah um so his performance was incredible um It kind of glossed over a lot of things. It moved quick as far as the time jumps. But again, it's a two hour film to try to cover one of the most iconic artists ever.
So you can't get everything in there. But I think overall they did a great job with the movie. I think everybody should go see it. I think you would enjoy it. The one thing that I do like is the performance scenes, the way that it's shot, it feels like you're watching a concert.
So that was kind of cool to be watching a movie and then to jump into a performance and you feel like you're watching a real performance. But yeah, overall, to me, I think it was great. I loved it. I understand some people don't really like it, didn't really, you know.
care for it too much i understand the business side of it um there will be a sequel uh the way it ended it's clear that it will be a part two i think it's already been confirmed that there will be a part two i think the the studio already greenlit uh the sequel where did it end like what time period for part one 1990 was it 88 or 91 88 i think oh 91 i think in london

But yeah, it was a great movie. I think that anybody that is a fan of Michael Jackson, anybody that grew up watching him, I think that if we watched everything else that was Michael Jackson, whether it was the American Dream series on, was that VH1? Mm-hmm. Love that. Um, Moonwalker. I put people on the Moonwalker. People didn't even know Moonwalker. They never seen the Moonwalker movie before.
I'm like, how y'all never seen Moonwalker with Joe Pesci and Michael Jackson? Like, so people start watching that. So anything that I'm, I mean, listen, this is who I grew up on. So anything Michael Jackson, I'm going to support it. Um, but I think that they got it right. I think Jafar Jackson, his role, he may win an Oscar for this. Yeah.
Like, that's how, like, it was scary how his mannerisms, like, the way he would walk, the way he would, he was dancing and the way he would just like his hold his hands and his face. And it was just, it was the, the, the costumes, the, the, they, I mean, they got everything to a T, even the background dancers that were in bad. And you know what I'm saying? Like they all wearing the same shit.

Them lawyers work, boy. And it's crazy because a lot of the times when they were showing 84, 88, like, Janet had huge records out. Like, she was doing her thing in 88. Like, so for them not to even mention, like, I'm talking about not even say Janet. I'm so proud of what Janet is doing right now. Like, there was no mention. Latoya was in the movie. She had lines.
Like, I'm just like, wait, the second famous Jackson we don't even mention? You know what's so crazy? In the Jackson's An American Dream, the series, she's barely mentioned in that as well. She's in it barely, but when I say it's bare, if you go back and watch, she's not really in that either. Damaris, they didn't say Janet in this movie.

like i'm talking about that's that's not huh nothing your sister all we saw was latoya that was it damn reby wasn't in it either hell no reby ain't getting no airtime damn that's what i'm saying it was just latoya and reby the oldest jackson that's crazy no airtime it was straight latoya i was like well no Because they was at a dinner table and Michael said, shut up, Latoya. Which is crazy because in 88, she might have had a number one song in 88. Damn, they didn't bring up Giovanni? Giovanni, who's that? Giovanni is the last Jackson.
