Because people love to say, oh, that wasn't on my bingo card. Or, oh, I knew this was going to happen. But where is it? Where is the bingo card? Here at Nikki and I, we take pop culture very seriously. So we actually made a 2026 bingo card with predictions of things that are going to happen in music, movies, internet culture, pop culture, politics, the economy, everything. You name it, we got it.
Because I did one of these last year and I predicted nine things correctly. The They were Tom Holland and Zendaya getting engaged. TikTok losing the Supreme Court case. Donald Trump and Elon Musk having a major falling out that would lead to some of the best tweets of 2025. Little did we know Elon would be tweeting that Trump was in the Epstein vials.

I said Doji would hit a minimum of 50 million monthly listeners. At the time, she was only at 14. She even ended up winning best rap album. So bonus point there. I said one of the biggest movies of the year was going to be based off a video game. There were actually comedies. Two of them, we had Minecraft and Five Nights at Freddy's 2.
I said there would be the rise of a major new pop boy, and we ended up getting somber. I said Donald Trump will do nothing to fix the cost of groceries. That one I'm a little sad about being right on. And last, I said Nicky at Night, our show, would have its first ever artist guest. And we did. Hey, we had some amazing artist guests. We also got a freaking U.S. senator.
So I think that's bonus points, okay? All I'm here to say is that I feel like I have a pretty good track record of predicting things and being right about it. So part of the whole game of this, anybody who didn't see this last year, I've done this for the past two years now, is you guys all have to also make your own bingo card. Well, you don't have to, but I would love it if you did.
So many people tag me on their stories and posted it last year. I freaking love it. If you do that, I will repost it to my Instagram. It's just at Nikki.Riordan. I love to look at that and I respond to your predictions. Sometimes you guys come up with such good things that I even think of myself.
So, yeah, without further ado, welcome back to Nikki and I. I am your host, Nikki Reardon, and this is either the very last episode of the year or the first episode of the new year, in which case, happy new year. This is one of those weird times where I have to, like, bulk film a bunch. It's, like, the middle of December right now for me because I go home for the holidays.
So I have some very, very interesting predictions for this year. Again, I think last year I had a pretty good run, if I'm being honest. The Tom Holland and Zendaya thing happened within seven days of me posting that video. So, you know, just I'm just saying there's maybe I'm on to something. OK, a lot of these are about music. A lot of these are not about music.
Some of them are just and one manifestation, you know, trying to throw something in there, you know. So to do a bingo card, there is 25 slots total, but one of them is a free space, which means that we have 24 predictions. My first prediction is a bit of a controversial one, but I'm just going to say it. And I'm not happy about this one, but I sadly feel it in my soul is Nicki Minaj, MAGA pivot.

But I think we're actually going to see fashion houses start to produce and fund and invest in movies. With product placement, like they do all the costuming and all the wardrobe of the movie and then also do like the entire press tour and of the talent and the actors and everything that they're doing. This is something that YSL actually started in 2023.
They created something called YSL Productions and started doing exactly this. Like they help develop and fund and produce costumes. Movies in exchange for product placement, essentially, like all of the great example was Amelia Perez, which was nominated one of one Oscars last year.
That movie was entirely was from YSL productions and all of the costuming and everything in the film was through YSL. I think the reason for this is that luxury fashion. has to be aspirational. They have to sell you on this idea of like status and fame and wealth.
And that they used to be able to do that through like content and through advertising, but the creator economy made that accessible to everyone, right? Like now anyone can make a video. Now anyone can be an ad. Now creators are on billboards and stuff even sometimes, right? So they have to push that a step further. What is the new thing that they can do to be aspirational?
I think that's just like full-blown film, right? That is something that an independent creative cannot do on their own. It's impossible. There's too many people and too many teams needed to create something like that.
So I think that they are actually going to start funding these full-blown, like high-scale, high, even if there's like 30-minute shorts type things of films to promote their products. Number 21, I feel like Ariana or Cynthia will win the Oscar, but not both. I don't know why. I just feel like it'd be too good to be true. You know what I mean? But I do feel like one of them will win.
There's no way we can go through all this two years of Wicked being like the biggest cultural phenomenon ever.

Honestly, let's say this. Nikki and I, first sponsorship, okay? I love doing this show. I love to do it all the time, but, you know, it costs me money. There's nothing I love more than doing. It's the most creatively fulfilling thing I've ever done in my life. It is my passion. My greatest passion is this sitting and talking to you once a week and yapping about stupid shit.
And the fact that there's like a community of people out there that love overanalyzing this shit as much as I do. And part of that is it has to grow and scale so that I can continue. So like. invest into it and have sets and producers or whatever. You know what I mean? Like I really want that. I really want to make this into something amazing.
I want this to feel as good as like Billboard does or Rolling Stone does, you know? So we're manifesting that. We're manifesting things that are gonna let me make the show even bigger and better. and more amazing in the next year. But y'all, please make a bingo card. Please tag me in it.
