International World Cup fan says, tipping fatigue has set in in the U.S. Fans are complaining that the country's tip culture is confusing and expensive. Because you don't allow your tip.
You know why? Because they make a livable wage. That's the difference. You know, I mean, overseas, they take care of those that are in the service industry, Joe. Yeah. They take care of them where they don't have to rely on people to come into restaurants and know we're about service and you tip based on how good the service is or how bad the service is because they're paying a livable wage.
I'm not. You are tipping if the service is bad. I'm not. I'm messed up, man. I'm not, I'm not tipping it to service bad. You get my order wrong. You know, I got to wait, you know, 10 minutes to get a refill on my drink. And man, when they gonna, when they gonna bring this? Nah, you're not getting no tip. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Damn. Cuz I always, I ain't gonna say the name of the hotel. But anyway, cuz I always leave a tip. I leave $30, $40 all the time, 50 sometime. Even when they come to turn down, cuz normally when you leave tip, they leave extra towels, extra face towels. They make sure you have a couple of extra chocolates, couple of extra bottles of water. Yeah. I was in the bed, I was eating in the bed. and I got ketchup in the bed.
I come back, the ketchup stain still on the side of the bed, but they took the $40. So I called the front desk, I said, ma'am. She said, they didn't change. I said, I'll tell you what they did do. They took that $40 tip. No. Yeah. I said, now you got me thinking, when I came in here, all they did was just make the bed. This is not a clean, this bed is not clean. I spent way too much money.
