Chapter 1: What happened in the Pacers vs. Knicks Game 1?
He keeps hitting threes, but they're not getting stops here.
The Pacers, that stretch. And I mean, the Pacers were giving them chances too, right? There was a steal that Aaron, or that Nembhard nearly got, but couldn't quite get it. Josh Hart keeps it in, right? There are just these little plays that didn't go totally the Pacers way. And then at the free throw line, Katt, Oh, gee, you saw the George Hill in their eyes. One for two, both times.
And then they split them there. And it was just the Knicks just could not pull it out. That felt like the Pacers made just one more play, one more play, one more play. And that ended up being enough. The OB top and dunk, the OB top and follow dunk, like just little chip ins that you're not getting anywhere else from the Knicks.
Oh, yeah. And I mean, to go back to Nembhard in overtime, they were running offense through him. There were plays where Halliburton was off ball in the corners, like Nembhard, go to work. And obviously he had the corner three, had that other bucket.
And then that beautiful pass from Halliburton one time when it was in his hands, Nembhard cuts back door, gives like just a little shovel underhand pass. Like in overtime, like it's sort of a play you do like maybe early in the game.
when it felt like an all-star game there for the first 12 minutes of this game, when no one was like being able to stop the other team, like what a play and the trust in each other. But yeah.
Yeah. He's having such a quiet game. That guy was having such a quiet game. It just, there's no way it can't be destiny when that guy was shooting 29% from three this season.
He was not a very good three-point shooter this season.
And in the playoffs, 50%. I mean, he's a new guy. And he was having a quiet game. And then he turned it on in overtime. They needed, obviously, Neesmith. They needed Halliburton.

Chapter 2: How did the Pacers overcome a 14-point deficit?
I'm like minutes in the moment right now. Yeah.
Okay. Yes. I was cheering for the Knicks. It was fun to be in a Knicks bar and I have them winning in seven. But you guys can attest as soon as obviously Halliburton shot drops and we're like, okay, foot's on the line. It's going overtime. It was like they're not winning in overtime. They're not. You definitely thought that. They're like, there's no way.
And I got to double down on that if I'm being completely honest. I don't think they're winning the series. I know it's just one game. I don't. I don't. That's devastating. I'm sorry.
It's a devastating loss.
You still got to beat them four times out of six here. Like, I don't know. To me, that's sort of like, wow. And to go back to, like, this team of destiny, my God, come on. Yes. Like, it feels like it's written that they got to go to the Pacers here. So, I don't know. I don't have a lot of confidence that the Knicks are going to win.
I mean, they did get 78 points from Townsend Brunson.
That was an incredible game.
They both scored a ton of points.
There was a campaign moment in this game. It was a funky-ass shot, and it was going in. There was a good little campaign stretch, for crying out loud.

Chapter 3: What were the key moments in overtime?
Yeah. He's just lucky that the voting wasn't done today. Cause best he could do is third behind Aaron Neesmith and Tyrese. However, you can tell it's a regular season award. He was dominant the entire year. And the Thunder were dominant as well in a Western Conference. It's really tough. That's what put him over the top is how far ahead the Thunder were compared to everybody else.
The efficiency, the way he scores, the way he is able to contribute defensively as well. Like everybody talks about, he's probably the fifth best defender in the starting lineup for the Thunder. But... In another world, you could see him being an all NBA defender as well. So much deserved for him. And yeah, people are going to complain about the free throws for sure.
It was weird last night at times, but he's still an unstoppable score. Nobody can stay in front of him. He's got a unique game that you don't see from anybody else. If people complain about too many threes, not with this guy, he's getting in the mid range and doing it. He's using savvy. He's using craft to be able to score enjoyable stuff.
Yeah, and after being named a first-team All-NBA selection the past two seasons, he had already qualified to be eligible to sign an unprecedented four-year, $294 million Supermax extension this summer. So that deal is going to have the highest annual value in league history. He's going to be, I think it's like $73.3 million.
Now look, that's crazy because it's reasonable to miss 10 games in a season. He'll be making a million dollars a game.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's where we're at. And it's just going to keep going up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up. But anyway, congrats to SGA guys from Hamilton, Ontario. You ever been to Hamilton?
Are you, are you more proud that somebody from Ontario won it than Steve Nash winning it? Yeah. Big time. I would be.
