Or she's reserving her right to potentially sue... the university that Charlie Kirk was speaking at in Arizona. Apparently, she's looking to take legal action against them. I meant Utah.
I was thinking Nancy Guthrie. Apologies, Utah. And it's basically to say that she could be potentially taking action against them because it was their responsibility to provide additional security in addition to Charlie Kirk's private, like his own personal security. She is saying that it was the university's responsibility to provide additional security with and they were supposed to work with law enforcement, that Charlie's team did bring these concerns to the local law enforcement and the Utah University campus enforcement. And apparently they're saying that the lack of security, specifically the roof access by students, that that access was a potential security threat. And these were all things that Charlie Kirk's team had presented prior to him speaking on campus that day.
So interesting, because a lot of people are like, Erica did this. She killed Charlie. She's behind all of this. Or Turning Point USA secretly wanted to kill Charlie, or whatever the case may be. And I just thought this was an interesting move if she is seriously planning on taking legal action against the campus and against local law enforcement or how she plans to come at them for failing to secure the campus when there were genuine concerns and there could potentially be a wrongful death lawsuit. I don't know how prosperous she'll be with that, but if they can provide proof that they were asking for additional layers of security and that it was local law enforcement or campus security that provided insufficient security
And Charlie Kirk had his own private security. And that was sufficient enough for him. But they were there were supposed to be other layers of protection, specifically access onto the rooftop, which is how we know Charlie or not Charlie, how Tyler Robinson was able to get up onto the rooftop and shoot Charlie or sorry, shoot him with the exploding microphone.
