Little run of show. We're going to break down the news today that the PGA Tour announced about its new competitive structure for 2028. We have an interview we recorded earlier with Maverick McNeely, who was on the Future Competitions Committee, colors in between the lines a little bit behind the scenes. We're going to visit some storylines ahead of the KPMG Women's PGA, mainly one big storyline ahead of this one as that tees off this coming week at Hazeltine.

All right. What was announced today? Released in a press release and agreed to. It was voted on yesterday, on Monday, and communicated to players this morning, 8 a.m. at the Travelers Championship. Released in a press release to the media around 9 a.m. this morning and adhered to and spoken to at the press conference at the Travelers by PGA Tour CEO Brian Rolap was a new competitive structure coming into play for the 2028 season. No more joking around about future schedules, TC. We know things change officially in 2028. It was voted on. It was ratified. They went through exactly what was agreed on and what was voted on and what is ratified and left a lot of doors open in terms of things that still need to be worked out and gave some dates as to when that is going to be.
We'll get to all of that as well. In essence, there's going to be a new competitive structure on the PGA Tour starting in 2028 featuring two tracks. We've heard it referenced as Track 1, Track 2 system. It is now under working titles of Championship Series and Challenger Series. These two tracks will have separate point systems on the Championship Series. It will feature around 130 players. Again, the eligibility for this is still to be determined. It will be finalized before. The goal is to finalize it before the 2027 season kicks off so everybody knows what they're playing for next year in 2027. There's no mid-year update of, oh, here's how we're going to decide this eligibility for 2028. When you tee it up for the first time in 2027, you will know what you've got to do to get into the championship track in 2028.
The expectation being the fields for these championship track events are going to get to around 120 people. There will not be alternates in this. There'll be a set number of guys on the championship series eligible for all of the events, excluding the major championships. That's a separate conversation. We'll get there.
