Chapter 2: What Aussie labels did Meghan Markle wear during her unofficial Royal Tour?
Her work doesn't just tell stories, it drives change. Hi, I'm Gemma Bath, host of True Crime Conversations. And this very special two-part episode isn't just about the justice system. It's about what happens when women are finally heard. A raw, honest look at the power of a single voice, how silence is shaped and how women push through it.

Chapter 3: How can the 'Three Word Theory' help in defining your personal style?
Groundbreaking. Oh my gosh. You have to do it. You live for fashion. Hello and welcome to Nothing to Wear, the podcast that solves fashion problems and levels up your wardrobe. I'm Lucinda Pickett. And I'm Tamara Holland.
And each week we talk about all things style to help us get more out of the clothes we already own and decide what is and isn't worth adding to our wardrobes. Hello, Tam. Hello, Lucinda.
Chapter 4: What are the 'Three Forces of Cool' and how can they enhance your outfits?
You look great. I love this set you're wearing. Thank you. Where is this from? It is Suvi. And I love this jacket. I've got it. It's in the Brooklyn denim. That's the style of it. It's the Brooklyn denim jacket, the skirt.
Chapter 5: What are the trending items for 2026 in fashion?
I've also got the Brooklyn denim jeans. And it's my uniform. I wear this all the time. She's got the whole fit. I love it. So it's a Canadian tuxedo with the mini skirt. Well, you look great. And I hope you're ready. We've got a packed episode today. So today we're discussing trending and timeless formulas for easier dressing.
Chapter 6: How can you reclaim your personal style amidst social media trends?
So we're going to dig right into that. Lucinda, you're going to be sharing your tips for finding your personal style and really honing in on it. And we've got our bougie to budget picks to share at the end of the year. All right, so let's kick things off with getting into what we've been seeing in the fashion zeitgeist.
So, Tam, tell me, what are the two things that's just been all over your feed? I mean, for one, Meghan Markle's been in the country. I don't know if you missed it. The Duchess of Sussex is in Australia. It's so funny that we all refer to her still as Meghan Markle. You can't not.
Chapter 7: What are some practical tips for dressing with style in 2026?
You can't not, and I love it. So I personally love how whenever Meghan does a royal tour, sorry, no, unofficial royal tour, not royal. Whenever she does a tour with Harry, she makes an effort to wear the brands of like the local market that she's in. And I've reported on this before, like when they did their trip to Africa, she was wearing African brands.
Now in Australia, she's wearing like just a rolling list of all the cool girl brands. I'm going to rattle a few off here. Bear Park, Matteau, Camilla and Mark, St. Agni, Friends with Frank, Dish. I mean, hello, Accessible Queen. She wore pants from Dish.
Chapter 8: What are the best budget-friendly and bougie fashion picks for this season?
I was curious about how these clothing placements come about because I was like, is Megan doing the research herself? Is she sitting there going cool Australian brands on Google? Like how is this coming about? Do you have any theories as to how it happens? And it isn't just Megan. We saw it with Oprah and she was sort of dressed head to toe in Camilla. Camilla! Iconic.
But yeah, there's a lot in play here within fashion PR. So it's like this fashion diplomacy. You get this instant goodwill from wearing these loved Australian brands. It makes us feel patriotic seeing her do that, right? So it's an exercising good PR for her. Very much so. So yeah, she's wearing these brands almost as a way of a non-verbal cue to say, I see you. I respect you.
I respect you enough to be wearing your brands. But there's also a story or a narrative that she can control based on what she's wearing. So she would have come into this with her team, her PR team going, what do we actually want to say through what she's wearing? So she loves the whole high-low thing, doesn't she? On that show, it was the Zara pants and the, what was it?
Laura Piani top or something. Yeah, it's true. Like a cashmere. Yeah, like a very expensive top back with like an accessible high street pant or something. So she likes showing that she's one of the people. I think that would have been the brief looking at the brands that she has worn, like Dish, Bear Park, Camilla and Mark. There could be some deeper stories here.
So for example, if she's like, I want to really focus on sustainability, she could have worn some pre-loved or vintage. That could have been a really nice take. If I was on her PR team, I would have had her dressed in what she was wearing five years ago whenever she was here. Those really nice denim jeans and the white oversized shirt to say, I don't mind re-wearing my same.
So if it's the same jeans, different top, maybe. I don't mind. These are my jeans that I love and wear to death. That could have been a really smart move. Yeah. Also, just lastly, from PR point of view, you get two stories out of the one activity. So a headline around Megan going to Taronga Zoo. I don't know where she's gone. Yeah. But then another headline around what she was wearing.
So there's a PR play there as well. Two bites of the cherry. I actually have a little bit of insight here and you're spot on. But one of the placements came about for a literal Instagram DM. So Megan, probably Megan's team, slid into the DMs of Friends with Frank, which is a Melbourne brand. It's a real if-you-know-you-know kind of brand. They do amazing wardrobe staples.
And apparently, so Julia McCarthy is the designer, and she told the SMH that she received a DM from the team requesting a number of pieces to be sent to Megan in the US, and she was told... It's confirmed that she's going to be wearing something, but the where and the what of that was unclear.
And so she was, you know, obviously very pleasantly surprised when Megan wore not one but two pieces from her brand, which was a trench coat with a more casual outfit and this little olive green shift dress. How cool is that? I know. Megan obviously loves fashion. So I think she would have definitely had some play in this and considered some of her outfits and pulling them together.
