The FBI has revealed more details about the man who shot at a Dallas immigration facility Wednesday morning. Penelope Rivera with member station KERA reports officials say 29-year-old Joshua Yan acted alone and left notes planning to target ICE officers.
Federal officials say they found handwritten notes at Yan's residence that show he planned this shooting months before. U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas Nancy Larson said Yan's words were, quote, definitively anti-ICE.
He hoped his actions would terrorize ICE employees and interfere with their work, which he called human trafficking. What he did is the very definition of terrorism.
