I mean, there was a time, and this predates you, but for a certain generation of our listeners right now, WTBS, which carried all of the Atlanta Braves, it was a superstation.
And all the Braves games were on in the early 1980s. And one of my favorite players, who I would later meet, Dale Murphy, was the two-time National League MVP. He was a man of impeccable class and not a guy that was aided and abetted necessarily.

In fairness to Murphy, he was of the highest professional respect, but like Pete Rose, whatever. Time heals all wounds. Get off your moral high cloud sometime and understand that people have challenges. I think that's the one thing you get with age is you get a little less judgmental because you never know what somebody's going through.

in terms of the relevance of, you know, and their football team for a number of years, like the last 15 years, has been as good as anybody, right? Maybe them and the Bombers of the last few years. And Brian Lawton was on yesterday's edition of the Oilers. Now, we talked a bit about the need for Edmonton to get more players and more depth involved in the lineup.
This is a team that you and I have talked about over the season, Bob, that really didn't get to involving more players earlier. Yep. And I felt like that hurts at a moment like this when you kind of need everybody. Another player stepped up. and certainly played well. Pod Kozlum and Kapanen I thought were exceptional in the playoffs, but it's more than that.
Dickinson was obviously hurt, but it's about developing your team over the season so that when you get in the playoffs, you can withstand at least one player, even if it's your star player, being a little bit injured, being a little bit off. All the other teams go through the same thing. Everybody knows it. I know you and I talked about it multiple times in the middle of the year.
Got to get other players involved, got to develop them, got to make sure they're ready down the stretch. There was a lot of McDavid and Dreisaitl this year. And unlike basketball, it takes more than two players to win a championship.
Now, don't forget Brian Lawton represents, I was going to say Brian McDavid, that is Connor McDavid's dad, but Brian Lawton started Octagon's player agency.
