Welcome to the Otherworld Patreon. I'm your host, Jack. Joining me for this episode is producer and today's co-host, Haley Pearson. How are you, Haley?
Hi, everyone. I'm good.
Welcome to your own show. How's it feel? Thank you.
It feels good. If anybody was under the impression that this is like a professional operation, I just want to let you all know that Jack is recording from a closet right now. He has clothes on hangers behind him and he's sitting on the floor.
I am in a closet, but that is not where I normally record. I will have people know that this is a professional operation, and it's me being a professional that makes me know that I have to make sacrifices when I'm not in the studio and climb in the closet. But yeah, this is not something we'll be using the video for, because this is not one of my proudest moments.
That being said, welcome to the Otherworld Patreon, Hayley. is here because this is actually um an episode that she did all on her own you went rogue and recorded some stories uh that you that caught your eye in the emails we all kind of read the emails on the show it's sort of a process and there's different things that catch everybody's eye
i'll let you explain it but for a while there were some shorter stories that were really catching your attention and you were asking me about this often yeah i mean there's just like so so there's only so many stories we can use um and you know we do like really pick and choose the best ones. But sometimes there's these really great short ones that just aren't long enough to go on main feed.
Yeah, the short ones would definitely pique my curiosity a lot. And I put together these two because they both take place at an antique mall or a thrift store and actually both happened to take place in upstate New York, which I didn't even put together until today.
That is a very interesting coincidence, and isn't the first story here about coincidences?
