I'm Eleanor Neal and today we're serving you up a true crime case from the vault.
This episode was originally posted to my YouTube channel years ago before we existed as Outlaw Podcast but I think it's time we add it to the Outlaw catalogue. So now I will hand back to me from the past to take it away with today's vault case.
And quickly before we jump into the case, I do just want to give my usual disclaimer that I mean absolutely no disrespect to anyone that I talk about in this video. This video is for educational purposes and everything that I'm about to say is just information that I have found on the internet and I'm compiling into one video.

So if any of that is something that you don't think you can watch, like I said, click out. No hard feelings. But with all of that being said, let's just jump into the case.
Anastasia Kryazhil was a 14-year-old girl originally born in Russia on February 18th, 2004. Not long after Anna was born, I think she was around one or two years old, her mother actually put her up for adoption. And that was when she was found by her adoptive parents, Geraldine and Patryk Kryazhil.
Geraldine was an English woman and Patrick was a French man and the two of them were so desperate for a child but they couldn't have one themselves and so they really wanted to adopt and as soon as they found Anna, they were over the moon. After adopting Anna, the family moved to Ireland, specifically County Kildare where she was now raised for the rest of her life.
And while her adoptive parents, Geraldine and Patrick, didn't have any links to Russia themselves, they wanted to make sure that Anna always felt in touch with her roots all her life, like as she was growing up. They tried really hard to keep her Russian culture and her heritage very much a part of her identity, like they kept her name Anastasia.
I think Anastasia is actually a Greek name but it's very popular in Russia as well and so they kept that name, they didn't rename her. They wanted Anna to be very proud of her roots and where she came from when she was older. They were never gonna hide the fact that she was adopted, they were never gonna hide the fact that, you know, she was from Russia and she had Russian parents.

Chapter 2: Who were Ana Kriégel's adoptive parents and what was her background?
But a lot of the bullying that was directed towards Anna was actually online through like social media, cyberbullying. She also experienced a lot of hate comments on YouTube and I don't think they were from the kids in school. They might have been, who knows? You can make like an anonymous YouTube account. But she used to get a lot of negative comments on her YouTube videos.
She was just a kid having fun and there'd be like angry adults in the comment section like, this is so stupid. But the comments would just get worse and worse and worse over time until they were eventually like death threats in her YouTube comments. People saying that she should be executed, stuff like that. It was awful. This is a 13, 14 year old girl.
Maybe she wasn't even that old at this point. She was like 12, getting death threats online. A lot of the comments would actually be sexual in nature as well, which is just disgusting. This girl is 13 and there's like men online. And there's men online. That's not what I meant. There's men online commenting on her.
And then in 2017, when Anna was 13 years old at this point, she was volunteering at a Halloween event. It was like a kids Halloween party at the local community centre. She was just helping out to be a good sport. This was supposed to be a really good night.
Anna was really excited about volunteering, she loved doing things like this, she loved helping people out but this night actually turned out to be one of the most traumatising nights of her entire life. Anna was working when she was approached by four much older boys. They were like older teenagers and like I said she was 13 at this point in time so immediately she was intimidated.
right from the go. And these boys could tell that she was scared as well. And I think they enjoyed it. I think they were feeding off it. They were like laughing and joking with each other. One of them even turned to Anna and said, you're gonna have sex with me Anna and grabbed her bum. This is a 13 year old girl. right? And this has just happened.
This is a much older teenage boy and she is terrified in this moment. She's just been sexually assaulted by this man. Actually, I said man, I don't know how old they are. They probably were boys but still. Anna was just absolutely traumatised. She ran home from that Halloween party crying and she went to her mother and her mother said that she just couldn't console her daughter at all.
She just had to hold her while she sobbed, which is just heartbreaking. As soon as I read that, as soon as I read her mother's quote about how all she could do was just hold her daughter as she sobbed, like, my heart just breaks for her. She was 13. To have your innocence broken in such a way at 13 when you're so naive and so vulnerable and so shy, like, I just want to give her a big hug.
Her parents helped her report this incident to the police and the police ended up finding out who the boy was. They went to his house and they gave him a caution. but that's as far as that went. And this incident was a pretty big blow to Anna's already very fragile mental health. That's one thing I haven't mentioned yet is that Anna was really struggling mentally in her teenage years.

Chapter 3: How did bullying impact Ana Kriégel's life during her teenage years?
So he was a very big part of this investigation now. So police sat him down in his own living room and they asked him a bunch of questions about Anna, about what he'd been doing earlier that day and he just said he didn't know anything. He literally said he had no idea where she was. He said that he'd gone to the park with Anna that evening for less than an hour.
They weren't even there for a full hour and he decided to leave at about 5.40pm. He said that he had homework to do at home. So he ran home and did his homework. And he actually left Anna in the park. He said that she didn't set off home. Like, she was still sat on the park bench as he left.
So after that, he said he had absolutely no idea what Anna did or where she went, if she met up with anyone else. And that was all Boy B could really tell the police about that night. And with that, they really didn't have much to go off in this investigation. They had no idea how or where they were going to find Anna Creasle.
And the next morning, so it had almost been 24 hours since Anna had last been seen, but she still hadn't contacted anyone. She hadn't turned up home, she hadn't returned any texts or calls or anything. So police put together a search team who all went out manually looking for Anna alongside a lot of her friends and family as well.
They were all jumping in their cars and going to all the places that Anna frequently went to see if she was at any of them. They had a bunch of her family members back at home calling everyone she knew, friends, family, literally anyone, people from school, teachers, anyone. But none of them knew anything. None of them had seen her. She hadn't been in contact with anyone.
She hadn't gone to anyone's house. It was literally like she disappeared off the face of the earth.
So on this second day of the investigation, the detectives decided it would be useful to go back and interview Boy B once again, because the first time they felt they didn't quite get everything from him, he was very nervous, which I suppose most kids would be if police are knocking on your door and questioning you in your living room.
I think, suspicious or not, I think most kids would be nervous, so it might take a couple of questionings to get them to open up and talk a lot more freely about it. So the police went down a second time. And you know what? It worked because he told them a lot more than he did the first time.
This time, he actually told them the reason why he was even going to meet Anna in the first place that night, the reason he went and called for her and took her to the park. He said that the reason he did it was on behalf of his friend, who is known in this case as Boy A. Boy B said that Anna Krijal had a huge crush on Boy A. but A didn't quite feel the same way.

Chapter 4: What led to Ana's tragic disappearance on May 14, 2018?
This 13-year-old boy had been searching for all kinds of illegal pornography, like torture porn, different kind of rape porn, bestiality, horse porn specifically. He was even looking up child porn, which he is 13, so he is a child himself, Some of the news sources that I read said that the children were younger than him but other sources said that they were girls around the same age as him. don't know, that is what it is. I know I've reiterated this probably about a million times in this case and you're probably sick of hearing me say it but let me remind you, this boy was 13. 13 years old looking for torture porn and bestiality. I don't even think I knew what those things were at 13. So all of that is what was found in boy A's bedroom.
His phone, the murder kit, all of that kind of stuff. But with boy B's house, The searches weren't quite as fruitful. There was one thing they found in Boy B's house that was somewhat interesting. It was a list of a load of boys' names and his name was on it and so was Boy A's. And it seemed that this was a list for a satanic club.
And I say that very lightly because remember they were 13 year old boys and like, I don't think it was actually anything serious. I think they were just being like rebellious little kids that were like, ooh, Satan, me. But on this piece of paper with all the members' names, it also had a bunch of rules that this satanic club went by.
And these rules were, don't talk about the club, act normal like nothing happened. That's an exact quote, by the way, I don't... Anyway, no talking about Jesus or God, only Satan. But yeah, like I said, police didn't really think too much into this. They didn't think it was anything serious or like actually satanic.
They thought it was just a bunch of school kids that were just like, I don't know, they learned what Satan was and now they wanna be rebellious. So right now, police have a lot of evidence against these two boys. Actually, that's a lie. They have a lot against boy A, but actually nothing against boy B. They don't have any physical evidence to say that Boy B was involved in Anna Kriegel's murder.
We'll talk a lot more about that later on, but I think it's just important to keep in mind there's no evidence against Boy B right now. The only evidence that they have against him actually is his own words, the things that he has said in his interviews, but there's no physical connections there at all.
Police felt like they needed that little bit more evidence before they could charge these boys and take them to trial. But luckily for the police, all the results from the forensic tests were coming in now. The first result that they got back was of Boy A's murder kit, the backpack with the Halloween mask, the shin pads, knee pads, blah, blah, blah, pads, all the pads.
And every single thing in that bag, the inside of the bag, the inside of the Halloween mask, the gloves, the shin pads, knee pads, all of it had Anna Creasle's blood on them. And her t-shirt that had the semen stain on it, what do you know?
